    About Chapman House

Chapman House is an assisted living facility for senior ladies aged 65 and older, located in a three-story modern apartment building that's got a welcoming, homey feeling, with a history going back to 1887, and you'll find private rooms with private bathrooms, all furnished if needed, and you can even control the temperature in your room, use a cooling fan, or sometimes get an air conditioner with a doctor's note. The building offers cable television in resident rooms and three shared lounge areas, and there's always WiFi in the common spaces, plus private mailboxes, an on-site kitchen, furnished common areas, and a dining room where they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with three snacks daily, all set up restaurant-style, so you can linger or eat when you want. For care, Chapman House has licensed 24-hour supervision, registered nurses, medication management, insulin and diabetes care, help with daily washing and dressing, and they handle non-ambulatory care for ladies who use walkers, canes, or oxygen, all with staff who wear masks for safety, and visitors have to do the same in hallways. You'll have help with laundry, dry cleaning, housekeeping, and even move-in coordination to get settled, and for day-to-day, you'll find a full-service salon, whirlpool tub, an on-site spa with foot soaks and manicures, and a hairdresser who comes regularly. Activities happen thanks to an activities director, with resident-run groups, scheduled community and public events, gardening, entertainment, art, cooking, and even computer classes, plus weekly and monthly calendars everyone can join in, and there's transportation to appointments, in-house mail and banking services, spiritual support, and education programs in the building, which tries to keep things both lively and restful. Chapman House allows pets, and the staff aim to create a friendly, comfortable space where every lady feels she belongs, and with under 100 residents, people often find support and laughter, and can enjoy walking paths, a garden, and all the everyday help they might need, whether getting up, going to meals, managing money, or handling medication, you'll always find someone around ready to help.
