    Happy resident in compassionate home

I've lived here four years and am very happy - clean, modern facility with lovely apartments, delicious meals, varied activities, and a strong spiritual/community focus. The staff are compassionate and skilled (Julie is the best); care across independent/assisted/hospice levels is attentive and the place truly feels like home.

    Summary of reviews

The Fountains at Hosanna is generally described as a modern, well‑kept senior living community with a strong spiritual emphasis and many on-site amenities. Reviewers consistently praise the aesthetics and upkeep of the building, common areas such as lounges, theater and dining spaces, and features like an on-site salon, garden, underground heated parking and robust transportation options. The community offers one‑bedroom apartment layouts, numerous social spaces for family visits, and easy access to church services that many residents and families identify as a positive part of daily life.

Staffing and direct care receive largely positive remarks: caregiving personnel are frequently characterized as compassionate, knowledgeable, and long‑tenured, and several comments highlight continuity of care across independent, assisted, memory and hospice services. The community also maintains an in‑building clinic and medication monitoring, and many families praised the dining program and the variety of menu options. The memory-care unit and activity staff are noted for structured programming, and the site offers a wide range of activities — arts, music, live entertainment, bingo, educational classes, and regular outings — that contribute to an active social environment.

Alongside these strengths, reviewers describe operational and clinical patterns prospective families should assess further. There are recurring concerns about variability in care quality when residents transition from independent living to higher‑acuity services; this includes instances where families perceived delays in clinical response and limitations in how the facility communicated about incidents. Some comments point to incontinence‑care and sanitation concerns in particular rooms, intermittent pest‑control issues in units, and occasional shortfalls in direct‑care staffing for residents with greater needs. Administrative issues such as ongoing billing errors and uneven communication from management were raised by multiple families.

Programming and engagement are broadly robust, but a few reviewers noted uneven resident participation and a desire for more proactive outreach to less‑mobile residents. Apartment-level limitations mentioned include smaller unit footprints, darker units or less‑usable balconies, and limited in‑unit laundry or storage options in certain floor plans. Cost and geographic convenience were also cited as constraints for some families.

In summary, The Fountains at Hosanna appears to be a strong option for seniors seeking a clean, amenity-rich, spiritually oriented community with an active social calendar and generally compassionate staff. Families considering the community should verify current staffing ratios and incident‑response protocols, review billing and administrative procedures, inspect specific apartment layouts for storage and laundry needs, and ask about pest‑control practices to ensure the community’s operational practices meet the needs of higher‑dependency residents.
