    Happy resident praising community amenities

I live at this nonprofit Life Care community and am very pleased with the warm, family-like atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and a busy activities calendar - fitness classes, performances in the arts center, trips and plenty of social options. The continuum of care is strong (on-site nursing, skilled rehab and PT), move-in support and maintenance are reliable, and apartments are spacious with good dining choices and biweekly cleaning. A new Independent Living wing, pool and refreshed dining area are coming online, so I'm happy here and expect amenities to keep improving.

    About Eastmont

Eastmont is a Continuing Care Retirement Community, or CCRC, that has a full range of care all on one campus, so you don't have to move if your needs change, and that's something people seem to like since it means spouses can stay close even if they need different care. You'll find independent living apartments for folks who want an active lifestyle with choices, plus assisted living and skilled nursing with memory care, long-term care, and end-of-life support, so there's support through every stage. The health care area's known for its standards, like the fact that no residents got COVID-19 during the pandemic, and there are on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams, and the physical therapy team oversees three fitness centers where people go for exercise classes on a schedule, and you can also join social games or arts and crafts, go to music or culinary events, or take part in things like gardening, bingo, Bible studies, or even singing competitions. The whole place leans on Christian roots and welcomes everyone, keeping a family-like feeling with long-tenured staff working in everything from health care to laundry, food services, and activities, so there's trust and steady support. Residents can use emergency alert pendants for safety, have transportation like shuttles and organized bus trips, and get help from a concierge, housekeeping, and move-in support. There's a focus on wellness too, with dedicated Wellness Rooms and a Center for Wellness, and people like having garden plots, three libraries, and three salons for self-care and hobbies, and rooms come furnished with cable TV and WiFi, which keeps things comfortable. You'll find primary dining, a separate café for coffee, and the kitchens can handle special diets and allergy-sensitive meals, including diabetes-friendly choices. Pets are welcome with some rules and a deposit. The community has on-site banking, spiritual facilities, regular movie nights, game rooms, and other ways to connect with your neighbors. End-of-life care, memory care, and skilled nursing are all part of the continuum, and the Life Care Model means you can make a long-term plan with a financial contract, often backed by the Eastmont Foundation for extra support. Eastmont keeps activity programs going, helps with chores, and takes pride in helping seniors age in place while staying active and involved in a social, spiritual, and cultural setting.
