    Exceptional care, clean rooms, recommended

I'm very pleased with my stay. The nurses, aides and PT team were outstanding-Olivia, Marissa and Sara especially-administration was responsive, rooms are spacious and spotless with TVs/phones, meals accommodated my diet, and activities kept my days full. Caring, attentive staff made this a comfortable, trusting place; I'd gladly recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Reviewers describe a facility that generates strongly divergent experiences. Many families praise the core caregiving functions: nursing aides and RNs are frequently characterized as compassionate and attentive, and several individual staff members and social workers receive repeated endorsement as reliable advocates. Rehabilitation services — physical and occupational therapy — are consistently highlighted as a strength, with families noting measurable progress and strong clinical engagement. Activity programming and memory-support offerings are also commonly praised for keeping residents engaged.

At the same time, the picture of everyday operations is uneven. Staffing variability and turnover are recurring themes that correlate with lapses in responsiveness and inconsistent standards of care. Specific operational concerns include variable adherence to medication and treatment protocols (including pain management), delays responding to call bells and care requests, and occasional clinical-competency gaps. These issues appear episodic but meaningful for affected families, and in a few instances reviewers noted serious clinical outcomes that they believe require external review or legal follow-up.

Environmental and service-level strengths and weaknesses vary by unit. Many visitors and families report clean, spacious, residential-style rooms and well-kept common areas, while others describe sanitation and odor concerns on particular floors and uneven housekeeping standards between units. Dining is described as accommodating for special diets but also inconsistent in quality and temperature. Transport coordination, equipment maintenance (for example call-bell functioning), and meal-service continuity were called out as logistical areas needing more consistent oversight.

Administrative performance receives mixed assessments. Several reviewers praise responsive admissions staff, engaged administrators, and social workers who facilitate transitions and advocate for residents. Conversely, other families report diminished oversight after leadership changes, delays in reimbursement or billing, and breakdowns in case-management communication. There are also a number of comments alleging theft or billing/reimbursement problems; these are serious concerns that some families are pursuing externally.

For prospective residents and families: the facility offers clear strengths in rehabilitation, individual caregiving, activities, and a generally residential environment. However, variability in staffing, clinical-protocol adherence, environmental cleanliness by unit, and certain administrative processes means that experiences can differ substantially. Families considering this provider should tour the specific unit of interest, ask about current staffing ratios and leadership stability, review medication- and pain-management protocols, verify housekeeping and dining arrangements for the relevant floor, and clarify billing and personal-item policies before admission.

    About AristaCare at Cherry Hill

AristaCare at Cherry Hill is a nursing facility located at 1399 Chapel Avenue West in Cherry Hill, NJ, and you'll find all sorts of things there for residents who need different types of help. The place has skilled nursing, rehab, memory care, sub-acute care, long-term care, and care for people who can't walk or who have high medical needs, and they even do intense rehab and post-hospital care. The staff includes rehabilitation medicine physicians, internal medicine doctors, full-time advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, licensed therapists for physical and occupational needs, speech-language pathologists, licensed nutritionists, and infection preventionists who all work together to look after the folks who stay there, and they've all been trained to use state-of-the-art medical and therapy equipment, including things like telemedicine and virtual reality therapy for rehabilitation, which is quite the thing these days. Meals come with choice, too, including kosher and vegetarian options, and for those who need help with incontinence or extra support for memory loss, they have those services as well, along with respite stays if you only need to be there a short while. There are activity programs, cultural programs, and amenities that make the place more comfortable, plus wheelchair accessible showers so everyone can get their daily needs met with some dignity, and beautician services for when a bit of pampering is needed. The facility is set up to help patients go back home when they can, with a comprehensive transition process that really does involve the family, and they focus on making the road to recovery as smooth as possible. The Cherry Hill location is part of the AristaCare network and follows best medical practices while using advanced technology, offering clinical services for things like wound care, cardiac care, pulmonary issues, stroke recovery, and even peritoneal dialysis, which many places don't handle. The goal there is to deliver a good resident and patient experience, blending compassionate, professional staff with evidence-based care and a warm, well-decorated setting, so people can focus on getting better, recovering, or living their lives with the support they need. More detailed information about what they offer can be found on the facility's website at www.aristacare.com.
