Beautiful facility but staffing issues
I placed my mom at Brookdale and had mixed feelings. The building is beautiful, immaculately clean and homey with great food, lots of activities, secure memory-care design, and many staff who genuinely knew residents and helped them thrive. But management turnover and chronic understaffing led to missed meds, hygiene lapses, lost items, staff on phones or sleeping, and even a safety incident - top people were fired and care seemed to decline. I'd recommend touring in person and only commit if they can prove stable staffing, clear med protocols and competent management.
