I moved in recently and am very pleased with the caring staff, attentive management, and friendly residents - the team's dedication and family involvement really show. The mountain-top facility is beautiful with outdoor walking areas, lounge and common rooms (piano, big TV), bingo/library activities, affordable rooms, varied food including vegetarian options, and allowance for personal items. New management and ongoing renovations are making positive improvements; overall I feel well cared for and grateful.

Summary of reviews
Care quality at this facility is described in strongly mixed terms. Positive comments highlight caring staff members and an engaged administrator, and some families report acceptable to very good levels of personal attention after placement. However, a recurring pattern of understaffing and limited formal training is also described, with reviewers indicating delays in attending to activities of daily living, inconsistent bathing schedules, and concerns about medication timing and controls. There are additional accounts suggesting gaps in supervision that have allowed disoriented residents to wander or be found outside secure areas; these reports point to weaknesses in resident monitoring and safety protocols.
Staff behavior and professionalism are similarly variable. Many reviewers characterize individual employees as friendly, helpful, and outgoing, and some reviewers praise new management and staff commitment. At the same time, other reviewers describe unprofessional conduct, use of personal devices during shifts, inconsistent caregiver skills, and problems with personnel shortages that increase workload and reduce responsiveness. Several comments cite payroll and communication issues between families and administration, which have contributed to distrust and frustration.
Dining receives mixed feedback. Some reviewers praise a varied menu — including vegetarian choices — and describe a large selection of foods. Contrasting accounts note organizational problems: meals served late or cold, trays moved from the dining room to rooms, and a dining room layout that is difficult to navigate with mobility devices. These patterns suggest that meal service consistency and dining-area accessibility are operational areas needing attention.
Facility condition and maintenance are also inconsistent. The property’s setting, exterior appearance, and certain common areas (entrance, lobby, outdoor spaces) are seen as attractive, and ongoing renovations and updated furnishings have been reported. Conversely, numerous reviews describe interior wear and tear, delayed maintenance (leaks, stains, worn furnishings), overflowing trash receptacles, and concerns about mold and pest control. These maintenance issues are raised alongside sanitation and odor concerns in both resident rooms and shared spaces, indicating routine housekeeping and environmental services may be under-resourced.
Activities and resident life present a mixed picture. There are reports of organized programming such as bingo, use of a library, and outdoor walking areas, and some families note that the facility allows personal items in rooms. Other reviewers report little to no activities, limited outdoor access for some residents, and common areas that are poorly furnished or underutilized. This inconsistency suggests variability in recreational staffing or programming priorities.
Management and governance show signs of transition for some reviewers: new management and renovations have produced positive change where noted. At the same time, important operational concerns appear in several accounts: poor communication with families, delays or issues in payroll and billing, restricted family access in particular circumstances, and serious allegations by a few reviewers regarding financial handling. Given the combination of positive indicators and significant operational weaknesses, prospective residents and families should seek an in-person assessment focused on staffing ratios and training, medication-administration procedures, recent inspection and licensing records, sanitation practices, emergency/supervision protocols, and written financial and visitation policies before making placement decisions.
