    About Waltonwood Cary Parkway

Waltonwood Cary Parkway sits at 750 SE Cary Parkway, right in an upscale Cary, North Carolina neighborhood just west of Raleigh, and the place is family owned and operated, started way back in 1987, and you can tell they've set it up for different needs because they've got options for independent senior living, assisted living, and memory care, plus there's respite care if you only need a shorter stay, and residents can choose from cottages, studio apartments, one- or two-bedroom homes, with some newly remodeled one-bedroom apartments showing up from time to time, and each place has full kitchens with granite countertops, wood cabinets, and private rooms so there's some privacy. They allow pets, and meals come furnished, which helps make life a little easier, and the grounds have outdoor walking paths, a putting green, and a greenhouse. The setup inside is pretty thorough, with a movie theater, craft room, garden room with potting stations, multipurpose room, fitness and exercise rooms with European health and fitness equipment from HUR made for seniors, a spa, and a therapy pool, along with a game and billiard room, lounges, a library, a ballroom, a hair salon and barber, and even a garden room to spend time around plants. There's an emergency call system, controlled entry, and the place is secured and monitored for safety, and they've got staff and nursing teams on site 24/7, including those trained in dementia care for the memory care service. Housekeeping and laundry services come available, same with apartment maintenance, and there are life enrichment programs, dining experiences that aim to work for everyone's needs, daily social activities both in and out of the building, scheduled doctor, podiatrist, and physical therapy visits onsite, medication management, and an activity director who runs the organized outings and day trips around Cary or to places like health centers, restaurants, shops, golf, and churches. Waltonwood Cary Parkway accepts a range of funding sources, including long-term care insurance and veterans benefits, but it isn't Medicare-certified. Residents pay a one-time community fee, with leases based on a yearly contract, and they focus on creating a carefree, maintenance-free lifestyle built around comfort, safety, and resident needs, with a priority on family involvement and a place where folks can mingle, relax, and celebrate milestones together.
