Vintage Gardens is a care home in North Raleigh on Candlewood Drive, connected with the LiveWell community network, where you'll find a memory care program called LiveWell @ Vintage Gardens that's set up for people with Alzheimer's and other memory concerns, and everything in the home really fits around giving people with memory issues the support they need, from extra safety features to caring staff who stay around and help day or night, and with only six residents in each house, it's a quieter place that feels more like an ordinary home than a big facility, plus you get either a private or a semi-private room set up with Wi-Fi, cable TV, and things like that to keep comfortable and connected. The caregivers work on a three-to-one ratio during the day and a six-to-one ratio at night, which means someone's close by if you need anything, and they have a full-time RN plus House Managers who keep an eye on daily life, making sure everything runs smoothly and each person has their own care plan. There's support for folks at all different stages and health needs - that means assisted living, memory care, respite, skilled nursing, end-of-life care, and even in-home health care - so people who can walk on their own and people who can't both get looked after. Amenities include gardens, pet-friendly spaces, handicap accessibility, communal dining, arts and crafts programs, and regular activities like games, music, and hobbies that the staff keep up to keep residents involved and engaged. The meals have won praise for quality, taste, and nutrition, and staff members often get recognized for being kind and helpful, which helps the homes feel friendly and welcoming, and there's even staff who speak English and can offer language support if you need it. Residents can join dining programs, enjoy outside garden spaces, or spend time in the communal living room, and activities have even won awards for helping keep people active in body and mind. Vintage Gardens runs all week from nine in the morning to nine at night, and tours let families come in to see daily life up close, check out the rooms, and try out the food, and while there are only three rooms left now, folks who do move in get everything included in one rent payment, with options for help paying depending on what's needed.
