Southern Pointe Living Center has served the community since 1988 and tries to give everyone a warm, home-like place to live, where the days are filled with joy, activity, and friendly faces, and folks can always find someone to share a story with over a good meal or in one of the welcoming communal spaces. Residents get nutritious, well-balanced meals every day, and the center has both indoor gathering spaces and regular social and spiritual activities, whether one wants to go out on an excursion or stay in for a devotional group, which happens pretty often and seems to help many find comfort in the company of others. Skilled nursing staff are there 24 hours a day, ready to help with whatever a person might need, whether that's diabetic care, help with walking or moving around, or incontinence care, and there are healthcare services for folks who need either short-term respite or long-term care.
Physical therapy and occupational therapy are available on-site to help people stay strong or recover from health problems, and there's a special memory care program for those who need extra support. Southern Pointe Living Center does its best to see each person as an individual, treating residents with respect and dignity, supporting their health and comfort, and letting everyone know they're considered a member of the community, which some might even say feels like family. Staff provide all sorts of necessary care, making sure people's needs get met and personal routines are respected, while also offering activities to keep daily life interesting and connected. Ancillary services and amenities aim to keep residents comfortable and happy, and the center wants residents to feel like they belong and are well cared for, and that's really been their way for many years.
