    Warm staff, clean homelike setting

I toured the place and came away impressed - the owner and staff were warm and clearly treat residents like family, and the home was very clean. The administrator walked me through rooms (each with its own bathroom), showed the back porch and courtyard, and the activity director had engaging plans. I heard good things from others and left with a very positive impression.

Designed to foster an atmosphere of relaxation and connection with the outdoors, residents can enjoy tranquil moments while listening to the sounds of songbirds and appreciating the natural landscape around them. Since its expansion in 2018, the facility has enhanced its ability to provide comprehensive care while remaining committed to its warm, home-like environment.

The care home is devoted to offering personal care for older adults who require assistance with the activities of daily living. Maple Valley Personal Care Home emphasizes independence for every resident through tailored wellness and care plans. Residents have the freedom to participate in daily activities that promote socializing and building connections with friends and neighbors, ensuring a vibrant and engaging community life. The dedicated staff strives to make daily living carefree by relieving residents from the hassles of home maintenance, allowing each person to focus on enjoyment and comfort.

Understanding that specialized care may be necessary for some, Maple Valley Personal Care Home accommodates individuals who are living with dementia. Several members of the staff are trained and certified in dementia care, ensuring that residents facing such challenges are supported with expertise and compassion. For those who require specialized medical care, 24-hour access to nursing support is available, with two full-time Licensed Practical Nurses on staff to oversee health needs. The medication management program is another key element of care at Maple Valley, as staff members carefully monitor and ensure that residents’ medications are accurately administered according to their doctors’ orders, fostering peace of mind for both residents and their families.

Maple Valley Personal Care Home offers a choice of private and semi-private rooms, each featuring private bathrooms, emergency call systems, and individual climate controls for heating and air conditioning. This thoughtful approach ensures safety, comfort, and privacy for every resident. Recognizing the importance of communication as we age, the staff is committed to helping residents regain and build confidence in their communication abilities, which is essential for maintaining independence and a meaningful quality of life.

The care home also incorporates occupational therapy and physical therapy into its program of services. An in-house physical therapist is available to assist residents with daily exercise routines throughout the week, promoting mobility and overall well-being. When residents require physical therapy, it is readily provided, contributing to a more productive and independent lifestyle. This holistic approach to care, combined with a peaceful setting and attentive staff, makes Maple Valley Personal Care Home a nurturing environment that places the health, dignity, and happiness of its residents at the center of everything it does.
