    Warm attentive staff, homey environment

I toured and moved my mom in and have been very pleased - the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, and the owners stay involved. The facility is beautiful, spotless, and homey; my mom picked a bright, corner room she can decorate, and the grounds, common areas and dining room are well maintained. Meals are tasty, meds and therapy are well managed, and activities (outings, games, church, therapy dogs and special nights) keep residents engaged, so our family has real peace of mind.

About Mrs Bushs Personal Care Homes

Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Homes in Kunkletown, PA, offer care for older adults in smaller, homelike settings with a focus on comfort, respect, and independence for each resident, and this community's been serving folks for over 40 years, welcoming up to 70 residents into fully furnished rooms with private bathrooms and kitchenettes, so there's plenty of space and privacy and if someone needs a little extra help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, or taking medicine, the staff are trained and on hand around the clock, keeping everyone safe with a 24-hour call system and easy-to-use emergency alert features, and there's always someone nearby to help out or check in, and they've got independent living with resort-style comforts, and offer assisted living, skilled nursing, home care, skilled nursing, memory care, and even hospice care, covering a wide range of needs from occasional assistance to round-the-clock medical care, plus adult day services and non-medical home support for those who wish to stay in their own homes.

Residents enjoy cooked meals from professional chefs, and the staff can handle special diets like diabetes or food allergies, serving food in a restaurant-style dining room and offering meal prep help, and there's always fresh linens and clean rooms due to regular house cleaning and laundry services, which is a real help, and for those who like to stay busy, the community includes a theater, a garden, walking paths, and outdoor spaces, with a fitness room, spa, library, game room, activity room, and computer center available, and the calendar's always full with scheduled daily activities, outings, movie nights, and even some resident-run clubs, so people have a chance to socialize and find neighbors with similar interests.

Transportation's provided for doctor's appointments and trips out, with parking available for visitors, and staff coordinate move-ins, help plan day trips, and assist with daily living needs, always aiming for a family-centered approach where everyone's treated like a family member, and all this comes with a focus on dignity, safety, personalized support, and maintaining the highest quality of care at an affordable cost, and they welcome visits from family and provide regular community news and updates, keeping everyone in touch and involved in community life, plus caregivers speak English and the entire place is furnished for comfort with cable TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a wellness center, and spaces for arts, music, and fitness, and they've really worked to build a community where seniors can stay as independent as possible while getting the help they need from a caring, dedicated team.
