    Homey community with staffing concerns

I toured this community and liked it overall. The staff were consistently friendly, compassionate, well-trained and long-tenured - they made my loved one feel cared for. The place has a homey, clean feel, friendly residents, decent meals and enough activities to keep people engaged. Downsides: it's older and somewhat pricey, I noted staffing shortages that caused delays, occasional housekeeping and billing problems, and limited programming for very active or high-acuity residents. For a family wanting a smaller, family-like setting I'd recommend it, but check care levels, costs and cleanliness carefully.
