    Compassionate non-corporate hospice care recommended

I'm very pleased with the caring, competent team at this intimate, non-corporate home - owners Iaza and Sajid are hands-on and staff consistently go above and beyond. My father received compassionate, hospice-focused care for post-stroke dementia in a clean, safe, home-like environment with excellent communication (they even organized a Zoom birthday during COVID) and straightforward flat-rate pricing. I'm grateful for their respectful, attentive approach and would recommend this special place.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment across the review summaries is strongly positive. Reviewers repeatedly emphasize compassionate, hands-on care delivered in an intimate, home-like setting. The owners, named Iaza and Sajid, are singled out for personal involvement and for going beyond typical expectations (for example organizing a Zoom birthday party during COVID). Staff are described with consistent, emphatic praise — kind, respectful, patient, and professional — and reviewers use strong language such as "angels," "legends," and "unreal" to describe their impressions. Cleanliness and a welcoming, well-maintained atmosphere are also frequent positives.

Care quality and clinical competence appear to be a major strength. Multiple reviews note effective handling of complex needs, including post-stroke dementia and difficult behavioral issues. Reviewers highlight conscientious medication administration, active pain monitoring, patience with mood swings, and a patient-first approach. Several accounts contrast the comfort and attentiveness at this facility with previous negative experiences elsewhere, and hospice-focused care is described as supportive and comforting, which suggests competence in end-of-life care as well as ongoing medical oversight.

Communication and family involvement are recurring themes. The facility is described as keeping families well informed, maintaining good communication, and offering flexibility around visits (notably during the COVID period). The personal involvement of the owners appears to foster a family-like environment; reviewers repeatedly describe the atmosphere as one of close personal attention rather than a corporate chain model. This small-home feeling, combined with warm staff-resident relationships, is a pronounced selling point.

Facility and operations: reviewers consistently describe the home as clean, pleasant, beautiful, and safe. The setting is repeatedly characterized as intimate and non-corporate, which many families valued for the individualized attention it enables. Several reviewers also noted that the facility arranges or uses outside services to support residents, which reviewers viewed positively when it supplemented care, though this practice is also mentioned as a notable operational detail.

Pricing and service model: most comments about cost are positive — reviewers cite flat-rate pricing and the absence of hidden charges as straightforward and appreciated. However, one reviewer specifically mentioned that the initial price was high, so potential families should be aware that while billing appears transparent, the up-front cost may be above some alternatives. The presence and use of outside services is another operational pattern: it can be a benefit (access to specialized supports) but may also reflect a reliance on external providers for some services rather than supplying them all in-house.

Activities and resident engagement: there are fewer details in the reviews about a structured activities or dining program. The most specific example is a personalized effort (a Zoom birthday celebration) arranged by an owner, which illustrates a willingness to organize meaningful, individualized events. Beyond that, reviewers emphasize emotional support, companionship, and a family atmosphere more than recurring activity or dining specifics. If structured social programming or dining preferences are an important decision factor for a prospective family, they should ask for details during a tour.

Patterns and recommendations: the dominant pattern is of small-home, owner-operated care delivering high-touch, individualized support that families find deeply reassuring — especially for residents with dementia, behavioral needs, or hospice care needs. Strengths are the compassionate staff, strong family communication, cleanliness, and visible owner engagement. Areas for inquiry before placement include confirming the cost and exactly what the flat-rate covers, understanding which services are provided in-house versus which require outside providers, and asking for specifics about daily activities, meal service, and any clinical supports you care about. Based on the reviews provided, Extended Senior Care and Service is highly recommended by multiple families for quality of care, staff devotion, and a comforting home-like environment, with the main caveat being to clarify pricing and service scope up front.
