    Brand-new resort-like facility attentive staff

I moved my mom here and I'm very pleased - the brand-new, glamorous facility is spotless and feels resort-like while still homey. The staff are warm, attentive and know residents by name; meals are good and there are abundant activities, outings, chapel services, salon and thoughtful amenities that have relieved our family's stress. Overall a welcoming, well-run community I'd recommend touring.

    Summary of reviews

The Legacy at Falcon Point is consistently described as a clean, well-appointed community with a resort-like atmosphere and a broad range of on-site amenities. Families and residents commonly praise the physical environment — bright common areas, tasteful décor, and numerous social spaces including a chapel, media room, salon, library, and private dining. Accessibility features such as wheelchair access and a handicapped van, plus on-site services (dentist, salon, hospice coordination), contribute to convenience for residents and families.

Staffing and caregiving receive mixed but often positive assessments. Many reviewers highlight compassionate, relationship-based care in both assisted living and memory care, with staff noted for patience, individualized attention, and willingness to go beyond job descriptions. Several nursing and admissions staff are singled out by name for supportive communication and smooth move-ins. At the same time, a recurring operational theme is staffing inconsistency: shortfalls at night and on weekends, turnover related to management transitions, and variable conduct or training among some caregivers. Those patterns correlate with complaints about delayed responses to calls, occasional medication-timing errors, and uneven day-to-day care reliability.

Dining and activities are strong selling points for many families. The community offers a wide variety of daily activities, clubs, outings, entertainment, and customizable meal choices; many residents enjoy the food and social programs. However, dining service continuity is uneven — reviewers cite slow meal service at times and occasional order-correction difficulties. Activity schedules are broad but can be inconsistently executed depending on staffing on a given day.

Management and operations present a mixed picture. Several families praise efficient billing, insurance assistance, transparent flat-fee structures, and staff who facilitate transitions and family involvement. Conversely, other reviewers describe challenges associated with leadership changes, recruitment difficulties, and perceived indifference from management in select situations. There are also notes of intermittent maintenance issues (elevator, generator, air conditioning in some rooms) and service-process gaps such as laundry or housekeeping inconsistencies in particular units.

Safety and clinical oversight deserve particular attention when evaluating this community. While reviewers frequently commend nursing professionalism and effective medical suggestions, there are also consistent concerns about supervision in the memory-care unit and process lapses that have led families to question response times and wound or hygiene management. Prospective residents with higher medical complexity or insulin-dependent care needs should verify clinical capabilities and medication protocols before deciding.

Overall, many families report positive experiences driven by strong interpersonal care, engaging programs, and an attractive facility. The primary operational risks to weigh are inconsistent staffing levels, episodic lapses in responsiveness and medication processes, and management/transition issues that can affect day-to-day reliability. Prospective families should tour the community, meet care staff, ask about current staffing ratios and night coverage, review medication and incident-reporting procedures, and inquire about laundry/housekeeping schedules and contingency plans for mechanical failures to align expectations with current operational realities.

The place holds up to 75 residents, with space for 22 living with Alzheimer's or other memory concerns, and state-licensed nurses and care staff are on hand 12-16 hours a day, and there's a 24-hour emergency call system as well, which makes families feel a bit easier. Apartments have private bathrooms, walk-in closets, kitchenettes, and cable TV, plus there's Wi-Fi, individually controlled air conditioning, and walk-in showers with grab bars for safety, and pets are welcome in assisted living. People can bring their own things and enjoy features like raised gardening beds, paved and indoor walking paths, and an enclosed courtyard. The main street concept common areas, outdoor patios, and community lounges with TV and meeting rooms give folks a sense of belonging, and residents can use amenities like a game room, movie theater, piano, library, café/bistro, computer room, fitness center, and beauty/barber shop, and a spa and wellness room if they want.

Meals are prepared by a chef and cover many dietary needs, with options for organic, gluten-free, and low-sugar or low-sodium diets, plus restaurant-style dining, snacks, and the choice to eat in a private dining room or the main dining hall, which is nice for guests or small gatherings. Housekeeping, laundry, and linen services mean residents don't have to worry about daily chores, and the staff can help with bathing, dressing, medication management, transfers, dining support, and continence care, including for those needing two-person help or ambulation assistance. There's diabetic care, health monitoring, physical, occupational, and speech therapy on site, and support for those needing rehab or experiencing changing health, so someone can age in place, even as their needs grow. The community runs daily activities aimed at boosting social life and mental health, like arts and crafts, games, outings, fitness classes, meditation, movie nights, and support groups, and there are religious services for Catholic, LDS/Mormon, Protestant, Jewish, and other faiths, with chaplains visiting regularly. Memory care includes secure areas, individualized wellness plans, brain games, and behavior tracking to help those with dementia feel comfortable and safe.

Plenty of transportation is available for errands and outings, and residents can enjoy the small, manageable size of the community, which feels friendly and close-knit because people and staff do get to know each other. Pet therapy's offered for those who like animals, and the community is pet friendly with some care help, and the staff keeps relationships strong with families and welcome visits. A nurse or aide is always ready to help in an emergency, and folks don't just sit alone, because the staff makes sure people get involved in group events or try new hobbies. Residents can enjoy the beauty salon or barbershop, spend time outside on the private patio, stroll the paved paths, or sit in the library or TV lounge. The Legacy at Falcon Point focuses on health, independence, and comfort, with regular wellness checks and adjusted care as needed, letting people stay in one place even if their care needs change. The facility's received recognition with awards for senior living, and the community offers tours so folks can see what daily life, food, and activities are really like before deciding anything.
