    Warm skilled staff, excellent care

I placed my mom here and have been very pleased. Yoana and the caring, skilled staff treated her like family, managed her medical needs carefully, followed a clear care plan, and even helped her regain mobility from a wheelchair to a walker. The facility is clean, comfortable and welcoming - private rooms, home-cooked meals, family events and responsive communication - so I'd recommend this warm, well-run home, with only minor room for improvement.

    About Fairwood Care Home 2

Fairwood Care Home 2 sits in a quiet spot in the Maple Ridge Estates neighborhood of Renton, Washington, where a small group home setting means there's usually no more than ten residents, which makes the place feel homelike and welcoming for people who want to avoid the crowds of bigger communities, and what stands out right away is the caring and hard-working staff who treat residents in a friendly and professional way, always focusing on personal comfort and meeting each person's unique needs. Meals come prepared by chefs and planned for good nutrition, and there's often a mix of group meals that can cater to special diets, including vegetarian options, giving people choices at meal time. Private rooms with private baths mean residents have plenty of comfort and dignity, while wheelchair accessible showers and tubs, as well as indoor and outdoor common areas, make it easier for everyone to enjoy both relaxation and activity. There's resident parking, plus easy public transit access, which helps families visit, and a variety of activities go on both in the house and out in the community, so most days there's something to do, whether it's a devotional, a social event, or a simple gathering in one of the shared rooms. Certified staff manage medications closely, follow doctors' orders, and watch for any side effects, so everyone gets the attention they need. Some residents stay for respite or short-term care while recovering, and others need long-term help, and Fairwood Care Home 2 can take care of people needing high acuity care, diabetic care, incontinence, dementia and memory care, non-ambulatory support, care for developmental disabilities, and help with mental health needs. For people who don't speak English as their first language, there are Filipino language spoken services, and there's also a beautician service for residents who want a bit of pampering. The owner has a reputation for being easy to work with and often goes beyond expectations to make residents and their families feel comfortable and supported, with a focus on easing worries during a tough time. Clean and spacious rooms, warm surroundings, and a positive, nurturing environment make daily living calm and secure, and the staff remain dedicated-visiting hours run daily from 9am to 8pm, so families can come when it's convenient. There's always something happening to keep minds and bodies active, and every detail, from meal planning to mobility help, is aimed at supporting both physical health and peace of mind. This community does its best to offer personalized and attentive care, whether someone's staying for a short time or living there full time, and the atmosphere truly tries to feel like a home, not an institution.
