    Warm, secure, caring memory care

I moved my mom into Lewis Park's memory care and have been very pleased. The building and grounds are well kept, the secure entrance lets residents roam safely, and the staff - from professional admins to caring CMAs and 24-hour nurses - genuinely care. Kathleen Ramsey, the activity director, is exceptional: she greets residents by name, keeps them engaged, and goes above and beyond. My mom is happy and I have real peace of mind; I highly recommend this warm, welcoming facility.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews present a mixed picture. Physically, the community is described as clean and well maintained, with an attractive campus, an on-site beauty/barber shop, and a secure memory-care area that allows supervised resident mobility. Dining is characterized as adequate: portions are ample and daily desserts are available, though several families called food quality only "fair." The activities program is a notable strength; the activity director is frequently singled out for personalized, engaging programming and strong rapport with residents.

Direct care and clinical coverage show contrasting patterns. Many families praise certified nursing assistants and caregiving staff as compassionate and attentive, and the facility does maintain 24-hour on-site nursing coverage. At the same time, reviewers describe operational problems that affect care consistency: inconsistent following of individualized care plans, delays in responding to call lights, coordination problems with medications and the pharmacy (including fax-dependent workflows), and examples of skin integrity concerns and transfers to the emergency department. These items point to gaps in care-process reliability even where staff demonstrate compassion.

Staffing and workforce issues recur across comments. Caregivers are often described as caring and willing to go beyond job descriptions, but reviewers also note high caregiver turnover, staff being stretched thin, and concerns about low compensation. Those workforce pressures appear linked to slower response times and variability in routine care. Maintenance and infrastructure reliability were also raised — for example, prolonged elevator outages and delays in processing refunds or maintenance requests — indicating weaknesses in facility-level service continuity.

Management, billing, and corporate oversight are the most frequent sources of dissatisfaction. Families report billing and ACH processing problems, invoicing errors, delayed reimbursements, and extended collection activity despite payments. Communication gaps include delayed or absent callbacks, administrative absences, and perceived unresponsiveness from corporate leadership, which reviewers describe as bureaucratic. There are also serious process concerns around privacy and nondiscrimination policy enforcement and inconsistent family communication during clinical events; one or more reviews characterize these as allegations warranting follow-up.

Taken together, the pattern is polarized: many reviewers convey a sense of relief and trust in frontline caregivers and the activities program, while others express significant frustration with care-process reliability, management responsiveness, and billing/administrative systems. Prospective residents and families should weigh the strong interpersonal care and activity offerings against operational and administrative weaknesses. Practical next steps before committing could include: reviewing a resident’s current care plan and how it will be implemented, asking for examples of recent staffing levels and turnover metrics, clarifying the facility’s medication/pharmacy workflow and expected response times, obtaining a detailed explanation of billing procedures and refund policies, and confirming escalation contacts at both the facility and corporate levels.

    About Sinceri Senior Living

Sinceri Senior Living runs a network of over 74 senior living communities across the country, and the company has its management team led by Mr. Christopher Belford under the business name J E A Senior Living, LLC, with their office in Vancouver, WA on Northeast 82nd Avenue. People might know some of their community names like Greenfield Estates, River Oaks, The Pines on Carmel Senior Living, Aspen Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center, Hart Park Square, Laurel Oaks, Layton Terrace CBRF and RCAC, Library Square, and The Arboretum CBRF, with each location providing different features and services but falling under the Sinceri Senior Living brand.

Each location gives a variety of care levels for older adults, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Special attention goes to seniors needing help with Alzheimer's or dementia in their Alzheimer's Special Care Centers and similar units like Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center. Residents can live in private rooms and get help with their daily needs such as medication management, bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, and cooking, plus mobility or recovery support after hospital stays. The communities have 24-hour nursing care, therapists, doctors, and dietitians who help with things like physical therapy, palliative care, and cardiac rehabilitation. Folks with disabilities, veterans, or people needing respite or companion living options will find focused help and specialized attention.

The Sinceri family of communities tries to give residents a comfortable home-like setting with safe surroundings, communal areas, and garden spaces. Places offer programs for social and mental wellness, like family dinners, visits to the zoo, concerts, and vacations. Residents often take part in wellness programs, group activities, and outings, and transportation services help them make appointments or go out into the community. The company says it values compassion, putting lots of effort into hiring staff trained for Alzheimer's and dementia care, and designing activities and routines to keep people engaged.

The business has required licenses and follows state rules, sometimes needing professional certification or bonding, and it belongs to groups like WALA, which advocates for senior living standards and offers specialized staff training. Sinceri Senior Living collects specific personal information on its residents and staff, including health, background, and financial data for safety and care planning, and it uses security systems and safety checks in all facilities.

Most Sinceri locations provide care that goes from short-term post-hospital recovery to long-term residential care, with individualized treatment plans that focus on both health and daily living needs. You'll find amenities and programs designed for a wide range of older adults, with a focus on helping them feel safe, respected, and part of a supportive community. Sinceri Senior Living keeps a website with more details, as well as a presence on Facebook and YouTube, and people looking for information about their many locations, programs, or privacy measures can find updates and guidance there.
