Westridge

Westridge is a small group home set on a spacious lawn with a large deck, a living room, a family room, and a family-style kitchen, sitting just four miles west of Chippewa Falls in a quiet rural neighborhood, providing a peaceful place for seniors and adults with mental illness or developmental disabilities, especially women with challenging behaviors. The home includes four bedrooms, two bathrooms, private suites, shared rooms, and kitchenettes in the living units, so residents can have options that fit their needs. Residents have their own private bathrooms, air conditioning, and cable TV, with internet and telephone access in the living spaces, plus the house comes fully furnished so nobody needs to bring much. Westridge offers 24-hour supervision with awake overnight staff, and a high to moderate level of supervision. A staff member's always present and on-call support is within reach at all times if needed, with a 24-hour call system for emergencies. Licensed assisted living services are provided, along with medication management and administration, personal care, help with daily activities, and support for non-ambulatory residents, diabetic care, incontinence care, and monitoring insulin levels. Meals use organic foods and ingredients, and the staff prepares and serves food daily, which helps residents avoid the hassle of cooking and save on costs, and they also get housekeeping and linen services to keep things clean. There are arrangements and transportation to doctor appointments if needed, indoor common areas where people gather, and activities both social and devotional so residents can stay active and engaged. Westridge is designed to help its residents follow their care plan and support seniors who want maintenance-free living with help for cooking, cleaning, or home upkeep, and the community emphasizes nutritious meals, daily assistance, and spaces to socialize or enjoy some quiet time.
