    Resort-like accessible community excellent staff

I feel lucky to have found Celebre Place - brand-new, beautiful and resort-like with spacious, modern, soundproof apartments, large wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and wide doorways. Dining is excellent (chef, linens, meal plans), maid service and nurses are reliable, staff are friendly and quick to help, and there are engaging activities and social opportunities. Great location (supermarket within easy walk, vet, stores and churches nearby), affordable and ADRC-recommended - I would happily recommend it to others.

    Summary of reviews

Celebre Place is described by many residents and families as a modern, well-maintained independent-living community with apartments and common areas designed for older adults. The physical environment receives consistent praise: apartment layouts are considered appropriately sized for single or coupled residents, bathrooms and doorways are accessible for walkers and wheelchairs, and finishes are perceived as high quality. The location is a recurring strength — proximity to a large supermarket, restaurants, churches and a veterinarian was noted as especially convenient for daily errands and appointments.

Care and staffing impressions are mixed but lean positive. Numerous comments highlight friendly, helpful, and caring direct-care staff and on-site nursing support; reviewers frequently cite prompt responses and an overall sense of resident safety and wellbeing. At the same time, there are patterns of concern related to staff turnover and perceived understaffing that appear to affect consistency of care and the speed of issue resolution. A subset of families described problematic interactions with individual staff or managers, creating worries about communication tone and staff conduct; those concerns suggest variability in interpersonal experience across shifts and personnel.

Dining and activities are consistently noted as strong points. The dining program, including chef-prepared meals, formal table settings, and meal-plan flexibility (plus the option to cook in unit) is viewed positively. Daily programming and social opportunities are described as engaging, and many residents reported an active social life with welcoming neighbors. Housekeeping and linen services, along with periodic nursing involvement, contribute to the resort-like atmosphere some residents describe.

Management and administrative practices emerge as the most significant area of concern. Multiple reviewers reported unclear or changing lease terms, confusion around auto-pay and billing procedures, and unexpected fees. Several accounts indicate management communicated intentions to raise rent substantially or applied fees in ways that residents found opaque; these financial and policy-management issues created stress for affected families. There are also reports of intermittent front-desk unavailability and difficulty contacting activity staff, which aligns with broader concerns about managerial oversight and consistency. Additionally, some families encountered challenges during transitions to higher levels of care or when administrative decisions about resident placement were needed, pointing to gaps in transition protocols and family communication.

Overall, Celebre Place offers many features attractive to prospective independent-living residents: accessible, modern apartments; robust dining and activity programs; and a convenient neighborhood location. Prospective residents and families would be well advised to review lease and billing documents carefully, ask specific questions about staffing levels and turnover, clarify procedures for transitioning to assisted care, and observe front-desk and activity staffing during a visit. Those steps will help assess whether the community’s strong physical environment and programs align with an individual’s expectations for administrative transparency and consistent staff interactions.

    About Celebre Place

Celebre Place offers both independent and assisted living for seniors, with apartments that have full kitchens, modern bathrooms with spa-like walk-in showers, and plenty of closet space, you get sizes from 664 to 925 square feet, and some even come with patios or decks, so folks who like a bit of personal outdoor space can have that, and for those worried about the weather, there's underground heated parking and storage lockers, which sure makes hauling groceries or getting to your car easier in the winter. The monthly rent covers heat, water, and sewer, which helps keep costs predictable, and in-unit washer/dryer or hook-ups make doing laundry simple, so folks don't have to haul baskets up and down halls. Apartments come in both one- and two-bedroom layouts, and all are designed for comfort and easy living. Pets are allowed, though there are some restrictions.

Inside Celebre Place, you'll find a warm, welcoming community with beautifully decorated interiors folks describe as having a bit of a resort feel, both inside and outside. The common areas include a formal dining room with a fireplace, a private dining room for special meals, an arts and crafts studio, a fitness center, a library/media room, a full-service salon, and a covered patio outside, so there are plenty of places for gathering or spending quiet time. Residents have Internet, cable TV, and air conditioning in their apartments, which makes daily life comfortable and keeps people connected.

Celebre Place is known for affordable assisted living. It's the only community in Kenosha that participates in the Wisconsin Affordable Assisted Living Program, which gives more people a chance to live there, even if their income's limited, and it also holds the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association (WALA) Diamond Accreditation, showing it's met some tough standards. There are independent living apartments for seniors age 62 and up, and folks can choose extra services if they want, like weekly housekeeping, laundry, and regular meals from a chef-meals are balanced and cooked by professionals, and residents can eat in the dining room or the private room if they like.

If a resident needs help, there's 24/7 licensed staff on site for supervision and care, with a wireless call system, and registered nurses do regular wellness checks, so families know someone's always there if needed. Medication help is available, too-administration or reminders-and care plans are tailored with the Wellness Coordinator, so services fit each person's needs and those services get billed separately from the rent, which is useful if someone doesn't need a lot of help most days. The community supports folks who want to stay as independent as possible and offers everything from minimal help to around-the-clock care, all right there.

Celebre Place keeps folks busy and engaged, offering daily social, educational, and recreational programs, so there's always something on the calendar, and the Celebre Club puts on social, educational, recreational, and spiritual activities, so people have options no matter what they're interested in. Fitness programs, recreation opportunities, and scheduled outings let folks get to know Kenosha and stay active, and groups like "We ♥ Kenosha" get residents involved in things like knitting, fitness, making comfort pillows, writing notes to veterans, and collecting supplies for schools, which gives a sense of purpose and gets folks involved in the broader community.

Other details that matter to people include housekeeping and maintenance services, linen service, wellness coordination, transportation for appointments or outings, veterans aid assistance, and on-site property management. The staff keep the place running smoothly, and the amenities are set up to help residents live comfortably without most of the everyday hassles that come with traditional homes. Amenities feel almost endless, but folks say it's not overwhelming-just well-designed for older adults who want an active lifestyle but also want support close at hand if they happen to need it.
