Staff are certified in Fire Safety, First Aid and Choking, and Medication Administration. Care at An Innovative Care means 24-hour supervision with help for things like dressing, bathing, transfers, incontinence, and wheelchair assistance, tailored to what each person needs and with individual service plans they update as needs change, and you get medication management and help coordinating with doctors. You'll find specialized care for residents with dementia-including memory care for mild cognitive impairment-and the staff are trained for hospice, diabetic, and non-ambulatory care. Meal times happen in a shared dining room, with three nutritious meals a day, snacks, provisions for all-day dining, and choices for people who have allergies or diabetes, since staff pay attention to special dietary needs. Activities fill the days, with social and recreational events, offsite outings, devotional gatherings, movie nights, gardening, and walking paths for folks who like the outdoors, along with community space inside for relaxing or events. Rooms have phones and safety systems, and there's a strong focus on keeping everyone secure. Transportation helps get residents to appointments or community events, and there's a busy schedule of both onsite and offsite programs.
