Peace Home Care

Peace Home Care was a small assisted living facility in Miami, Florida, and it welcomed up to eight residents in a home-like setting at 5040 NW 197th Street. The place focused on helping seniors with daily needs like meals, bathing, medication management, and personal care, and for those who needed it, incontinence care and memory care services were also available, so folks could keep their independence but still have help close by when it was needed. The staff were skilled and made sure families got a bit of peace of mind, and they also supported those needing adult foster care, board and care, respite care for giving main caregivers a break, and non-medical companionship, always aiming to make residents feel supported and comfortable. Registered in Florida since 1996 under the name Peace Home Care Inc., the facility stayed up to date with state licensing, had annual reports on file, and was looked after by a team including Ana L. Abreu and Francisco Abreu. Although Medicare wasn't accepted unless the facility was specially certified, the cost usually was lower than full-time nursing home care, and the community aimed to keep things simple, safe, and tailored to each person's needs, carrying a long-standing reputation for trying to improve residents' quality of life. Peace Home Care ended its operations with a voluntary dissolution in December 2019.
