Lillian's Adult Care Home

16970 NW Elkton Ct, Beaverton, OR 97006

      Attentive warm caregivers, immaculate home

I'm very pleased with this senior living-attentive, warm CNA/nurse-owner and caregivers keep our family informed and are consistently kind and thoughtful. Her immaculate, home-like room with its own bath and sunny window, fresh flowers and manicure, pleasant dining service with well-presented meals, and Bible reading/prayer make my mother happy; overall a great place.

      Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment across the provided review summaries is strongly positive. Multiple reviewers emphasize compassionate, attentive care and a high level of satisfaction from both residents and family members. The facility is repeatedly described as clean and home-like, and reviewers specifically note details that contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Care quality and staff: Reviews consistently highlight the staff as a major strength. Descriptors used include "warm and caring," "attentive," "kind and thoughtful caregivers," and notes that staff keep family informed. Those comments point to reliable day-to-day caregiving, clear communication with families, and a caring approach that contributes to resident happiness. The presence of an owner with CNA/nurse credentials is mentioned explicitly, which reviewers appear to value as an indicator of clinical knowledge and hands-on leadership.

Facilities and environment: The facility's physical environment is described as immaculate and home-like. Specific positives cited include private rooms with their own baths and sunny windows, which suggest comfortable, private accommodations with natural light. Reviewers also mention a neighborhood location, implying a residential, community-oriented setting rather than an institutional feel. Small touches such as flowers on the table and general comments that "everything is very nice" reinforce the impression of a well-maintained, thoughtfully arranged space.

Dining and meals: Meal service receives generally favorable comments: reviewers note good meals with pleasing presentation and dining room service, indicating that mealtime is treated as a communal, restaurant-like experience. The only recurring negative on this topic is that meals are "occasionally not to mom's liking," which suggests that while food quality and presentation are strengths, menu preferences or occasional misses do occur. This is a limited concern in the context of otherwise positive remarks about dining.

Activities and personal care extras: Review summaries mention personal grooming and attention to small, meaningful activities—flowers and manicures are called out specifically—as well as spiritual programming such as Bible reading and prayer. These details point to attention to residents' emotional and spiritual needs in addition to basic care, and they contribute to the overall family perception that the facility supports quality of life and dignity.

Management, availability, and overarching patterns: Management appears to be hands-on and clinically informed (owner with CNA/nurse background), which likely reinforces the positive staff culture and care practices noted by families. A practical consideration for prospective residents is limited availability; reviewers note "no openings," indicating demand and potential waitlists. The only notable concern repeatedly mentioned is occasional dissatisfaction with specific meals; beyond that, comments are uniformly positive. Review content is limited in scope but consistently emphasizes care quality, cleanliness, and a home-like environment.

In summary, the reviews portray Lillian's Adult Care Home as a small, well-kept, neighborhood facility with strong, communicative caregiving, comfortable private rooms, pleasant dining experiences, and attention to residents' personal and spiritual needs. The owner’s clinical background and staff responsiveness are repeatedly praised. Prospective families should be aware of potentially limited openings and that, on occasion, a meal may not suit a particular resident’s taste. Overall, the reviews reflect high family satisfaction and recommend the facility as a caring, clean, and home-like option for adult care.

      About Lillian's Adult Care Home

Lillian's Adult Care Home handles daily care for a small group of adults in a board and care home setting with a focus on respect, safety, and comfort, and the staff including Lillian and Claudia, who are known for their warm and attentive care, work hard to create a pleasant, home-like atmosphere where residents can feel secure, have their own private rooms with their own bathrooms, and receive help with things like taking medicine, bathing, dressing, and enjoying daily meals, which are served family-style around a dining table with options for vegetarian and kosher diets as well as themed dining and snacks tailored to each person's needs. The caregivers help out with daily routines, but they also do more personal things, like bringing flowers, offering manicures, reading from the Bible, praying with residents, and making the environment cheerful and peaceful, all surrounded by green trees in a quiet Beaverton neighborhood that's close to parks, shops, and about seven miles from Portland, so folks can get out if they want or need to. Lillian's Adult Care Home stands out for memory care with secured areas for those who wander or feel confused, and the team handles high-acuity needs, diabetic care, and non-ambulatory care along with on-site nursing, hospice, and respite care, with a nurse always on call for any emergencies. There are both indoor and outdoor common areas where residents can socialize, relax, or take part in activity programs, and the place is kept spotless and cozy, promoting a sense of home where no smoking's allowed indoors, but pets are welcome. Women and men are both admitted, and rooms can be personalized for comfort, and wheelchairs are easy to use throughout the home, as showers, parking, and access are all thought out for easy movement. People say the environment's friendly and supportive, and the care team's always ready to help, so residents can maintain their independence and privacy but still have all the support they might need, with physical and occupational therapies, beauty and barber services, devotional activities, and rides available when needed. Lillian's Adult Care Home has a long reputation recognized by local hospitals, a 5.0-star rating based on positive reviews, and offers a peaceful, green neighborhood spot for seniors who want high quality care, a sense of security, and the chance to stay active and social in a clean, welcoming small group setting.
