There are all kinds of places in the building-like a game room, a little library, a beauty salon, a garden, and spots to walk outside-plus the apartments have cable or satellite TV and Wi-Fi, so people can stay busy and keep in touch with their friends and loved ones, and there's cleaning and laundry service. They design the community as several small households for more personal care, and the activities like exercise and social events help everyone stay active, and they also offer respite care if someone's main caregiver needs a break. Pleasant Light gives support for mental wellness, focusing on emotional health too, and has policies for protecting everyone, including folks of all gender identities and orientations. Each resident gets help that fits what they need, and they can get independent living, assisted living, or memory care, with a focus on comfort and safety all the way through.
