    Spotless welcoming facility, compassionate staff

I toured The Preserve at Meridian and left very impressed - spotless, warm and home-like with knowledgeable, compassionate staff (Keela Kersh and Terri stood out). The educational tour highlighted great amenities - dining, salon, on-site therapy, courtyard and an active events calendar - and I felt residents are well cared for. Overall I'd recommend it and look forward to attending future programs.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviews portray The Preserve at Meridian as a well-kept, campus-style senior living community with many features that families and prospective residents value. Commenters consistently praise the facility’s appearance — described as clean, spa-like and attractive both inside and out — and highlight amenities such as a salon, on-site physical therapy, a beautiful dining room, courtyard spaces, and cottage-style housing. Reviewers frequently emphasize a strong social environment, active programming and educational events that support resident engagement and independence.

Care and staff: Staffing is the strongest recurring positive theme. Numerous reviewers characterize the team as friendly, compassionate and willing to go above and beyond; front-desk employees and specific staff members are singled out for excellent customer service and personalized attention. Several accounts note proactive family communication, a dedicated wellness director, and attentive nursing and therapy services. These comments suggest a culture that emphasizes resident-centered care and relationship-building. However, there are also important concerns to consider: reviewers raised issues indicating gaps in memory-care supervision and instances of delayed clinical response and family notification after incidents. Additional comments describe inconsistent staff tone and communication in some interactions. Prospective families should ask directly about memory-care staffing ratios, supervision protocols, emergency response procedures, and typical family-notification practices during their tour.

Dining and activities: Dining and programming receive positive marks overall. Many residents and family members describe the food as appealing and note a plentiful schedule of activities, social opportunities and educational events that contribute to a lively community atmosphere. The combination of attractive dining spaces and varied programming appears to support both socialization and quality of life for residents.

Facilities and management: The campus is repeatedly described as new, well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, with outdoor spaces and interior finishes that reviewers find home-like and comfortable. Maintenance responsiveness and pride in housekeeping are cited as strengths. At the same time, some reviewers express concerns about management practices around billing and transparency. Comments reference aggressive collections approaches and a desire for clearer upfront information about fees, contracts and policies. Cost is also noted as a barrier by some families.

Notable patterns and recommendation: The dominant pattern is positive — attentive staff, attractive facilities, robust amenities and active programming. At the same time, isolated but serious concerns about memory-care monitoring, timeliness of clinical incident response, and communication tone warrant careful due diligence. Families considering The Preserve at Meridian should tour the memory-care neighborhood specifically, request details on staffing ratios and supervision practices, ask for written emergency-response and family-notification procedures, and review all contract and billing terms for clarity on fees and collections. For many residents the community’s amenities, staff engagement and environment will be a strong match; for those with higher clinical or memory-care needs, confirm operational safeguards before making a decision.
