    Caring staff with staffing concerns

    I moved my parent here for the excellent meals, varied dining options, strong rehab and genuinely caring nurses/CNAs - the staff are personable and give me peace of mind. The facility is upscale and spotless, single-level with a nice dining room, prayer room, city views and affordable all-inclusive pricing (~$3,000/mo with meals and cable). Rooms are small but adequate, activities and same-day laundry are helpful, but understaffing, management changes, poor communication, some maintenance/odor issues and elderly-unfriendly tech are real drawbacks. Overall I value the therapy and caring staff, but weigh the staffing/management concerns before deciding.
