    Renovated clean caring attentive affordable

I'm very pleased with this facility. The newly renovated building is clean and nicely decorated, the food is good, and staff feel like family - warm, kind, extremely attentive and helpful. The Activities Director is fantastic (events keep residents cheerful), caregivers have taken over my mom's care with patience and encouragement, and overall it's a caring, supportive place at a very reasonable price.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: The facility elicits a mix of strong clinical and interpersonal strengths alongside noticeable facility-maintenance shortcomings. Praise centers on the quality of direct care and leadership: aides and caregivers are described as attentive, patient, and emotionally supportive, and the executive leadership is seen as engaged and helpful. Families emphasize individualized communication and staff who act in a family-like, encouraging manner; several accounts highlight staff willingness to assume day-to-day care responsibilities and to prioritize resident happiness.

Care and staff: Care quality is consistently framed as a core strength. Frontline staff are described as attentive, compassionate, and patient; they provide hands-on assistance and constructive guidance to families. Leadership receives separate positive mention for being organized and active in programming and family communication. These patterns suggest a stable caregiving culture that emphasizes resident dignity, emotional support, and family partnership.

Dining and activities: Dining receives generally favorable comments for food quality. At the same time, the facility maintains a practice of separate dining for residents who require feeding assistance; this is a notable operational characteristic that can affect social interaction and should be clarified with management during a tour. Activities are highlighted as well-orchestrated and engaging, with staff taking an active role in event planning and resident participation.

Facilities and maintenance: Physical-plant comments are mixed. Interior areas are frequently described as clean, freshly updated in places, and attractively decorated following recent renovations. However, there are persistent concerns about exterior upkeep and outdoor amenities—landscaping, outdoor seating, and entrance fixtures are described as inconsistently maintained. The renovation pattern appears patchwork, leaving some parts of the campus updated while other areas show deferred maintenance. The facility’s size and institutional footprint are also mentioned as a factor that may influence atmosphere and navigation.

Management and pricing: Management presence and responsiveness are a positive theme, with an executive director and staff noted for helpfulness and activity coordination. Pricing appears straightforward at the base level and is described as reasonable by some; however, there are additional charges for private rooms that can be substantially higher. Prospective residents and families should request clear written pricing and ask about room-upgrade policies and any fees tied to private accommodations.

Notable patterns and recommendations: The dominant pattern is strong person-centered care delivered by attentive staff and supported by engaged leadership, contrasted with operational weaknesses in exterior maintenance and uneven renovation coverage. Families prioritizing interpersonal care, organized activities, and reasonable core pricing may find the facility appealing. Those for whom grounds, exterior accessibility, or uniformly modernized facilities are important should inspect outdoor spaces and review room-fee policies in detail. Clarify dining arrangements for residents who need feeding assistance if communal dining and social integration are priorities.
