    Small, attentive home-like care facility

I'm very pleased with this small, home-like facility. The owner and staff are attentive and responsive, providing personalized, round-the-clock care with a strong staff-to-resident ratio, nurses/therapists and on-site doctor visits, daily bathing, home-cooked meals and snacks, weekly groceries, and engaging activities. Clean, safe, and great communication - it truly relieved our family's caregiving burden and I recommend it.

    About Divine at Hillsboro Street

Divine at Hillsboro Street is a small senior living community at 502 N Hillsboro Street in Youngsville, North Carolina, built with seniors in mind and really focused on comfortable, home-style care rather than big, busy crowds, so the place stays quiet with only a few residents at a time-sometimes as few as three and never more than six-which gives staff plenty of time to know everyone by name and notice when someone wants something different or needs a hand, and you can tell that from the way the staff are always described as caring, professional, and involved, with at least one full-time CNA on site and sometimes even taking people out to eat, which makes the place feel pretty close to a family home. The facility's rooms have private patios, air-conditioning, cable TV, baths with walk-in tubs, and ground floor access, while the common areas include a wrap-around porch, a spacious yard for walks, a TV lounge, and an arts and crafts center where residents can pass the time or get to know each other, though many reviews say residents mainly watch TV together, and the staff keep the place clean and organized. The community gives special attention to needs like memory care, diabetes, or incontinence, and offers both long-term and short-term stays, including assisted living and skilled nursing, plus ambulatory and high acuity care, medication help, daily activity support, and personalized care plans, so seniors with different health needs can find care that fits them. Meals are home-cooked right on site with fresh groceries brought in every week and the staff can manage diets for gluten-free, low salt, or no sugar, with meals available anytime and always aimed at wholesome, balanced eating, while extra services like laundry, housekeeping, beautician visits, grocery shopping help, and errand runs are included. Residents can join in on social or recreational activities, educational events, or just relax, and the facility welcomes outdoor smoking, has both covered and uncovered parking, and supports high-speed internet, cable and cell phone plans, and even help with hearing aids if anyone needs it. Safety matters here too, with things like home security, medication dispensers, medical alert systems, and ID theft protection. Divine at Hillsboro Street covers a lot of ground with its care homes, using names like Always Compassionate Family Care Home, Tender Touch FCH, Mercy Manor at Saybrooke, and Avendelle Assisted Living, keeping to a model that's more about small group living in a peaceful, homey environment, usually surrounded by trees and fresh air in a country town, promoting independence but reaching out with help whenever someone needs it. There's a focus on open talk with families, transparency with care, and making sure everyone feels comfortable, safe, and respected, and families report that the staff pay close attention to cleanliness, reliability, and the little things, while giving residents options for everything from companion care to full-time nursing, independent living, senior apartments, condos, and townhomes. The management provides resources for both residents and their families, guides for medical devices, and lets representatives manage listings or update community information, but what stands out most is that Divine at Hillsboro Street keeps things simple, caring, and peaceful, holding onto that small-town, home-based care feeling that some folks prefer over a bigger place, and their three posted reviews do show a strong 5/5 rating and mostly highlight the attentive service and clean, comforting setting.
