    Attentive compassionate care, welcoming community

I moved my mother in and have been very pleased. The staff are attentive, compassionate, and professional; nurses and therapy teams provide excellent care, and activities and dining are engaging and restaurant-style. The community is clean, well-maintained and welcoming with spacious apartments and responsive front-desk/maintenance - it's given our family real peace of mind and I'd recommend a tour.

    Summary of reviews

The Seasons is generally presented as a well-equipped, attractive retirement community with notable strengths in staff compassion, therapy services, dining, and social programming. Many reviewers praised the interpersonal qualities of frontline caregivers, the competence of the therapy/rehab team, and the presence of attentive nursing and social-work support. Short-term rehab and skilled nursing services receive comparatively strong endorsements for clinical outcomes and professional care. Independent living residents frequently cite spacious apartments, pleasant grounds, and an active social scene as major positives.

Staff and direct care are recurrent strengths: reviewers describe warm, helpful reception and move-in experiences, responsive maintenance, and hardworking housekeeping. Programming staff and activity leaders are often singled out as enthusiastic and creative, and the facility offers abundant events, gardening opportunities, and communal spaces that support resident engagement. The dining program earns high marks from many for restaurant-style meals, menu variety, and a chef-driven service model, contributing to a resort-like atmosphere in portions of the community.

However, the reviews also reveal operational inconsistencies that prospective residents and families should investigate. There are repeated concerns about variability in assisted-living staffing levels and visibility, slow responses to call lights in some units, and gaps in medication administration and oversight. These issues have been described as more pronounced in assisted-living contexts versus independent living and skilled nursing, suggesting inconsistent staffing/training across care levels. Safety and access-control practices (for example, unsecured doors) and underlit circulation areas were also noted as areas needing attention.

Dining impressions are mixed: while many praise gourmet offerings and plentiful entrée choices, others described periods of poor meal quality, service interruptions (notably during pandemic-related restrictions), and rising guest/meal fees. Facility appearance and upkeep are generally regarded as good at the community level, with attractive common spaces and well-kept grounds; nevertheless, some unit-level maintenance and sanitation concerns were reported, including water stains, carpet and paint needs, and localized cleanliness issues.

Management and administrative patterns emerged as another important theme. Positive accounts cite helpful intake staff and a generally smooth move-in process, but several reviewers reported unclear pricing, non-refundable community fees, unexpected billing increases, and unmet sales promises. Families recommended asking detailed questions about fee structure, refundability, what is included in the monthly rate, and policies for residents who exhaust savings or change care levels.

Bottom line: The Seasons appears to be a strong option for independent living residents and for short-term rehab or skilled nursing needs, particularly where therapy and an active lifestyle are priorities. For families considering assisted living or higher-dependency care, it would be prudent to confirm current staffing levels, medication-administration protocols, safety procedures, and written pricing disclosures before committing. Requested documentation and in-person observation of assisted-living routines, medication rounds, and emergency response times are advisable to confirm operational consistency.

    About The Seasons

The Seasons is a senior living community that gives people many choices for how they want to live and receive care as their needs change, letting folks pick from independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, and adult day care all in the same place, which makes things a lot easier if someone needs more help later or wants less worry. The community has apartments with one or two bedrooms or studio options, all with private bathrooms, walk-in closets, private balconies or patios, washers and dryers, and storage, and folks can even have their pets with them. Each apartment is set up for safety, with emergency call systems and controlled building entry, and residents get meals, housekeeping, laundry, and all utilities included, so there are fewer things to keep track of. There's a full kitchen with modern appliances like a dishwasher in each apartment, private dining rooms for special dinners, and a bistro and bar with happy hour, so meals are both convenient and social when residents want them to be. Community spaces include a restaurant-style dining room, activity rooms with a stage and piano, a peaceful chapel, fitness center, library, movie theater, indoor and outdoor common areas, event spaces, screened room, and a swimming pool and hot tub, and the grounds have walking paths, gardening spots, an on-site greenhouse, and outdoor seating-plenty of chances for fresh air. Folks can join in on scheduled activities, wellness programs, creative workshops, outings, day trips, continued learning, games, and special events as part of a full calendar, making each day a little different and helping everyone stay active and connected. The Seasons provides complimentary transportation for doctor visits or social trips, concierge services like grocery delivery, and help with small tasks through housekeeping and building maintenance. Residents can get caring help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and medication, with nurses on staff around the clock, plus visiting professionals for dental, podiatry, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and hospice or home care if needed. Safety's a priority, with 24-hour nurse coverage, an emergency response system, and special services for residents at risk of wandering, which helps families feel better about their loved ones living there. There's a beauty shop, barbershop, library, movie theater, and many community rooms for relaxing or socializing. The Seasons lets folks keep their independence as much as possible, gives them help if or when they want it, and tries to make life easier with things like resident parking, pet-friendly policies, elevators, handicap access, and a caring, hospitality-centered staff. The community has a 5-Star Medicare rating, which shows their focus on high standards for care, and there are always staff members on hand, including a nurse 24-7 for assisted living residents. The building and grounds are designed to feel easy to get around and filled with natural light, with four wings, lots of windows, and park-like views. The focus is on comfort and dignity, helping each resident feel at home, and offering plenty to do or places to relax, whether someone needs just a little help or more support in daily life.
