    Professional staff and exceptional amenities

I moved my mother into this beautiful, brand-new 11-story community and we're very pleased. The staff are consistently professional, warm and attentive, the facility is modern and bright with great views and spacious rooms, and the amenities - indoor heated pool, gym, therapy services, theater, abundant activities and excellent dining - cover everything we wanted. Convenient location near shops and church, covered parking and included housekeeping/cable/Wi-Fi make daily life easy; I highly recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Revelle King of Prussia presents as a modern, well-amenitized senior living community with many features families value. The building, finishes, and public spaces receive consistent praise: large windows and abundant natural light, bright interiors, terraces with views, and attractive dining rooms with professional table settings. On the amenities side, reviewers commonly mention an indoor heated pool, a well-equipped fitness center, in-house therapy and rehabilitation services, and a broad slate of social and wellness programming (water aerobics, live entertainment, movie nights, bingo and scheduled exercise classes). The location and covered parking are also strengths cited by prospective residents and families.

Staffing and care: Care quality impressions are mixed. Many families and residents highlight compassionate, attentive caregivers and specific staff members who delivered excellent bedside care and reassurance during the move‑in and care-planning process. In-house therapy teams (PT/OT/ST and contracted rehab) and some nursing/care teams are described as professional and effective. However, a recurring operational pattern is inconsistent staffing levels and high turnover, with reliance on agency staff at times. Reviewers describe that this variability can translate into gaps in care continuity, irregular adherence to individualized care plans, and uneven responsiveness on some shifts. There are also noted concerns about clinical oversight, specifically expectations around continuous nursing coverage that some families believe are unmet. A small number of accounts include serious clinical outcomes (falls, pressure‑related skin concerns) and infection-control events; these have led to family distress and, per some reviewers, regulatory attention.

Dining and housekeeping: Dining is frequently cited as a positive feature — quality meals, table-side ordering, extended meal hours, and a chef who receives praise for menu offerings. Several reviewers describe the dining atmosphere as inviting and professionally presented. At the same time, there are operational weaknesses in kitchen communication and meal-access coordination (miscommunications about meal availability, access issues for some residents), and a few reviewers describe perceived declines in food quality over time. Housekeeping and sanitation are generally praised in many areas, but reviewers also note sanitation and cleanliness inconsistencies in certain care units, particularly within memory-care areas.

Activities and amenities: Programming is a strong point when it is consistently delivered. The community offers diverse on-site activities and therapy services, which many residents find engaging and supportive. Amenities such as private balconies, large apartment layouts (including some two-bedroom units with full kitchens), garage parking, and multiple elevators contribute to a resort-like atmosphere. That said, reviewers advise prospective families to confirm activity frequency and memory-care programming specifics during visits, as experience appears to vary across units and shifts.

Management, communication, and administrative issues: Feedback about leadership and administration is mixed. Some reviews describe substantial improvement following management changes and commend responsive leadership efforts and follow-through on facility improvements. Conversely, others raise concerns about billing inaccuracies, schedule coordination (elevator or activity scheduling mismatches), and inconsistent follow-up on family feedback. These administrative gaps can compound anxieties for families trying to track care time, billing details, or incident follow-up. There are also isolated but serious allegations that have prompted regulatory scrutiny; prospective families should review the facility’s current regulatory status and ask management for documentation of corrective actions.

What to watch for when evaluating this community: Revelle King of Prussia offers many desirable physical attributes and an extensive amenity set, and it is capable of delivering high-quality dining and rehabilitative services. At the same time, reviewers identify recurring operational vulnerabilities—particularly variable staffing continuity, gaps in nursing coverage, and administrative communication failures—that can affect daily care reliability. Prospective residents and their families would be advised to request current staffing ratios, inquire about agency-staff use, confirm nursing and clinical coverage hours in writing, review recent inspection or citation histories, observe meal service and activities at multiple times of day, and obtain clarity on billing and contract terms before move-in.
