    Community is clean, caring, active

I'm very pleased with Twin Rivers - the community is clean, bright and well kept, and residents clearly enjoy the many activities and music. The staff are caring, responsive and hands-on (management and activities teams included), memory care is strong, and the dining looks thoughtful and varied. I'd happily recommend it to others.

    Summary of reviews

Twin Rivers Assisted Living and Memory Care is described overall as a clean, bright, single-story community with a strong emphasis on personalized, family-style care. Many families praise the facility’s appearance, wide hallways and updated decor, and note convenient on-site services such as a salon, gym and physical-therapy support. The environment is frequently characterized as welcoming and home-like, with accessible common areas, a veteran recognition wall, pet-friendly policies, and well-maintained grounds and gardens.

Care quality and staff performance receive predominantly positive comments. Reviewers commonly highlight compassionate, attentive caregivers, visible involvement from memory-care specialists, and supportive nursing and rehab staff during transitions or post-acute care. Several accounts describe individualized attention, quick responses to family concerns, and direct engagement from leadership and activities personnel. The community’s culture is often described as family-like, with staff praised for patience, kindness, and the ability to form personal relationships with residents.

Dining and activities are recurring strengths. The dining program is noted for chef involvement, varied menus, and balanced choices; however, there are intermittent notes about meal-temperature consistency and constrained variety when costs or staffing pressures arise. The activities calendar is robust, with musical entertainment, arts and crafts, puzzles, fitness options, movie and activity rooms, and daily social programming that families say supports residents’ mental and physical engagement.

Facility operations receive mixed feedback. Many reviews applaud cleanliness, prompt maintenance, and the visual upkeep of furnishings and public spaces. At the same time, several families raised operational concerns that represent pattern-level risks: inconsistent staff conduct or attentiveness in some shifts, variable medication-management practices, and communication gaps between staff, management, and families. There are also mentions of leadership turnover and occasional difficulty obtaining satisfactory resolution after raising concerns, which some families interpret as limited transparency in incident investigation and follow-up.

Practical considerations include pricing and ancillary fees: some families find base rates competitive but note that extras and ancillary requirements can increase total cost and affect menu variety. A few reviewers also flagged training and night-shift security coverage as areas where consistency could improve. Prospective families should weigh the facility’s strong caregiving reputation, memory-care competencies, and well-maintained environment against these operational considerations.

For families considering Twin Rivers, recommended due diligence items include asking about current staffing ratios (including night coverage), medication-administration protocols, incident-investigation and family-notification procedures, detailed pricing and ancillary-fee disclosures, and meal-service practices (including typical service times and temperature controls). These targeted questions can help clarify whether the facility’s generally positive strengths align with a particular resident’s clinical and logistical needs.

About Twin Rivers Assisted Living and Memory Care

Twin Rivers Assisted Living and Memory Care offers both assisted living and memory care services in a one-story building that feels relaxed and comfortable, with large windows letting in plenty of sunlight and colorful common areas meant to help residents feel at ease. The community supports people who want to stay independent but need some help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, or managing medicines, and there's always staff on-site, including a part-time nurse and trained medical staff available 24/7 for extra support. There's a big focus on memory care here too, with special features and programs for people living with Alzheimer's or other types of dementia-residents get personal care, reminders, and cueing as needed, and the staff include Certified Dementia Practitioners who've learned about the best ways to care for those with memory issues, drawing on practices from organizations like the Alzheimer's Association. Memory care in The Village Program® uses technology called It's Never 2 Late (iN2L™) with lots of activities, games, and ways for families to connect, and the whole area gets designed to avoid too much noise or stress, using familiar routines and sensory cues to help people feel calm and safe.

The building has a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans, including Deluxe and Standard apartments as well as specific memory care suites of about 307 to 348 square feet, most with kitchenettes and safety features in bathrooms. Twin Rivers works to match each person's needs with their own care plan, adjusting things as needs change over time. Letting residents bring their own personal items is encouraged to help make their place feel like home, while group and one-on-one activities, structured daily programs, and enrichment activities help everyone meet friends, stay active, and enjoy life. Communal meals are provided for all, and there's Graceful Dining™ as well as housekeeping, linen and laundry services, and maintenance, so everyone has less to worry about.

For those who want to be active, there are fitness and wellness programs, a fitness center, and indoor and outdoor gathering areas such as a courtyard, gardens, covered porches, entertainment spaces, lounge areas, and a salon offering beautician services. There's also general transportation and shopping trips, a vibrant event calendar, devotional services, and support for people of different faith backgrounds. Pets are welcome, so residents don't have to leave animal friends behind. Twin Rivers uses air purification technology called Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization (NPBI™) to help keep the air clean.

The community is managed by Grace Management, Inc. and follows a philosophy called Living Gracefully, focusing on respecting every person's dignity while helping them age well. Whether someone needs independent living, assisted living, memory care, or just a short break with respite care, Twin Rivers aims to support each person's physical, mental, and social well-being, with flexible options and a care team guided by personal plans and a long history of working well with residents. Facility ID is 106770 and License No. is 312527. Twin Rivers gets high reviews from residents and families for the staff's prompt and friendly support, helping make daily life smoother and safer for everyone who lives there, and tours are encouraged so interested people can get a real sense of what it's like.
