    Caring staff and excellent amenities

I'm thoroughly impressed - the staff here are caring, attentive, long-tenured people who know residents by name and truly go above and beyond (white-glove concierge, quick service, excellent nursing/rehab and pandemic/tornado responsiveness). The community is spotless and beautifully kept with great amenities - delicious, varied dining, covered pool, roomy apartments, and a lively calendar of activities and events that residents love. Move-in was seamless even during renovations; I trust the care and highly recommend this place.

About The Forum at Lincoln Heights

The Forum at Lincoln Heights sits on 15 landscaped acres in an upscale, central neighborhood and runs as a single-story community for seniors who want independent living, assisted living, memory care, respite care, or short-term stays. The community allows pets and gives several choices for living spaces, including studios, single rooms, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, and both private and semi-private options, each with different prices and features like kitchens or kitchenettes, full kitchens, accessible showers, washers and dryers, and patios or decks. Residents choose between meal plans with one, two, or three meals daily, all served restaurant-style in dining rooms with big windows and formal settings, and can visit private dining areas for special times.

Amenities cover basics like cable, internet, and housekeeping, and extras like fitness centers, satellite TV, beauty salon and barbershop, community gardens, indoor and outdoor pools, game and card rooms, activity studios, an indoor heated pool in the Cottages Clubhouse, concierge services, a bar/cocktail lounge, and covered parking. Community features include Wi-Fi in common areas, guest parking, handicap safety features, gated entries, and smoke-free indoor policies. There's a chapel for spiritual needs, community computer workstations, and a dog park and walking paths for pets. Residents use scheduled transportation and have access to on-site health services, with nurses on call, visiting doctors, therapy including physical, occupational, speech, and now even FOX Rehabilitation and Agility Therapy Solutions. The community also manages laundry, dry cleaning, and maintenance.

The Forum's memory care program, Bridge to Rediscovery, focuses on supporting seniors with Alzheimer's or dementia by giving each person a safe space and routines tailored to their needs. Assisted living provides more help for those who want it, with personal care assistants, wheelchair assistance, medication support, and quick access to medical help. Independent living options aim for more freedom while still providing meals, help when needed, and activities for socializing, learning, and staying active.

The Forum at Lincoln Heights is known for its Lifestyle360 program, which sets up activities and clubs - from education programs, arts and crafts, fitness classes, swimming, and happy hours to outings, movie nights, pet therapy, and volunteer projects. There's an on-site library, movie theater, guest shopping nearby, and a steady calendar of events, including religious services both on and offsite. Residents often speak well of the kind, helpful staff, who help with daily routines and make sure billing and services are straightforward. Management by Five Star Senior Living brings more programs and support, including the MyChoice Dining Program and Five Star Culinary dining, which focus on health and nutrition. The Forum offers inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, respite care for short recoveries, long-term care, and specialized support for families working with long-term care insurance.

The community keeps a secure, caring environment with regular social events, friendly common spaces, lakes and ponds for peaceful walks, and outdoor sitting areas like gazebos and courtyards. Rooms are described as clean and well-lit, and the campus keeps a neighborhood feel where residents can be as active or relaxed as they want, choosing company or privacy as they see fit.
