    Excellent care, attentive staff, recommended

I placed my dad at Greenview Manor and have been very pleased - the nurses, CNAs, and therapy team are caring, attentive, and remember residents by name. Care plans are reviewed with family, rehab went well, meals and activities create a warm, homey atmosphere, and staff consistently go above and beyond; I'm grateful and would recommend them, with just a bit of room for small improvements.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews for Greenview Nursing and Rehab present a highly mixed picture: many families and residents praise direct-care staff and therapy services, while other accounts raise substantive operational concerns. Positive feedback centers on frontline caregivers — certified nursing assistants and a number of nurses are described as compassionate, attentive, and able to form personal connections with residents. The facility’s physical- and occupational-therapy programs and short-term rehab outcomes receive frequent praise, and some families describe clear, regular care-plan reviews and collaborative communication that supported clinical improvement.

At the same time, reviewers describe variability in clinical and interpersonal performance. Key clinical concerns include inconsistent medication management (delays, missed or slow medication distribution) and delays responding to resident requests, which are attributed in part to staffing shortfalls. Several accounts describe problematic staff conduct and lapses in communication tone; a small number of reports reference racially insensitive language. These patterns indicate inconsistent day-to-day supervision and variability in caregiver training or oversight.

Dining, housekeeping, and infection-control issues appear as recurring themes. Positive notes describe good meals and special-event dining, but other reports cite cold or inconsistent meal quality and concerns about kitchen staff illness-management and food-safety practices. Sanitation-related issues range from laundry-handling deficiencies to pest-control concerns and inconsistent housekeeping performance; maintenance responsiveness is described as effective when staffed but uneven overall. Together these items suggest gaps in environmental services processes and training.

Activities and memory-care programming are among the facility’s strengths: families mention an active schedule, a comforting activities director (providing small comforts such as tea/coffee), and a memory-care wing that delivered attentive support in some cases. Therapy teams are repeatedly commended for clinical competence and for helping residents regain function.

Administrative and facility-management issues contribute to the polarized impressions. The building is described by multiple reviewers as older and in need of updating. Administrative communication is uneven — some managers and leadership (including DON/ADON) are praised, while other families report inaccessible account management, voicemail-only responses, and perceived favoritism among supervisors. There are also serious-level claims, including allegations of staff theft and gaps in family communication after critical incidents; these should prompt prospective families to seek documentation and clarification during tours.

Notable patterns: there is a clear split between strong caregiving at the bedside and inconsistent organizational controls. Strengths tend to concentrate at the caregiver/therapy level; weaknesses cluster around staffing stability, medication administration, environmental services, and administrative responsiveness. For prospective residents and families, an on-site assessment focused on observed staffing levels during different shifts, medication-administration processes, laundry and pest-control procedures, dining service during a mealtime, and clarity about billing/account contacts will help validate whether the aspects you prioritize are consistently met at this facility.

    About Greenview Nursing and Rehab

Greenview Nursing and Rehab is a single-story senior care facility that offers assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and respite care services, and they're really focused on making sure residents feel supported and comfortable throughout their stay, with 24-hour care from licensed nurses, therapists, and social workers on site. The staff can help with daily tasks, medication, hygiene, and serve meals that fit each resident's dietary needs and personal preferences, and you'll find amenities like a therapy room and a spacious lounge for people to gather or take part in social activities, with private and shared rooms designed for safety and comfort. The therapy team, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, works with residents on personalized goals, especially for those recovering from surgery or an injury, and their programs aim to help people regain skills for daily living and independence, whether someone stays short-term for rehab or needs long-term care, they focus on each person's well-being. Greenview isn't a drug or alcohol rehab center, but they work with most major insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid, and their administrative staff makes a point to help residents and families understand the process. Residents can bring their own clothing and some personal items, as long as they're not valuable, and staff provides other items needed for daily and personal care. The building stays clean and well-maintained, and there's an effort to make everyone feel like part of a community, though inspection reports from March 2025 show six new deficiencies, including concerns about resident rights, food service and safety, cleanliness, and infection control, and there's a record of 25 deficiencies overall. Staffing levels average about 3.21 nurse hours per resident each day, with a nurse turnover rate around 73.9%. Greenview Nursing and Rehab has 128 certified beds and is managed by Theresa Sheddy and Michael Bewsey, with oversight by Richland Nursing And Rehab Center LLC, Fannin County Hospital Authority, and Clark Sanderson, and is affiliated with Eduro Healthcare. The team understands that a comfortable, supportive space helps with recovery and daily life, and aims to respect resident choices and provide essential care while working through areas that need attention.
