    Spotless, safe, homey, caring community

I'm very pleased with Riverton Beehive Home - spotless, safe, homey apartments (roll-in showers, big rooms with TVs) and a warm open kitchen/dining area where family gatherings fit. The staff are loving, respectful and knowledgeable about dementia; meals are homemade and excellent, and activities (bingo, volleyball, crafts, piano) keep residents engaged. Everything felt included and professional, giving me real peace of mind - I highly recommend this caring, dignified place.

    Summary of reviews

Beehive Homes of Riverton is described consistently by reviewers as a small, family-run assisted living residence with a strong emphasis on a home-like atmosphere and close personal attention. Families and residents highlight the warm, inviting common areas (including an open kitchen and fireplace), spacious private rooms with accessible showers, and a level of cleanliness described as meticulous. The setting is portrayed as comfortable and reassuring for relatives seeking a residential alternative to larger institutional facilities.

Care quality and staff performance are the most prominent themes. Reviewers repeatedly characterize staff as compassionate, respectful, and attentive; frequent phrases indicate that employees treat residents like family and are responsive to medical and safety needs. Several comments emphasize that staff are knowledgeable about dementia care and that a memory-care option is available, and there are statements about careful handling of medically necessary details that made families feel confident in the level of supervision and safety.

Dining and activities are also strengths in the reviews. Meals are described as homemade and high-quality, with inclusive billing and a family-friendly dining area used for gatherings. The activity program includes crafts, music (piano), bingo, volleyball, and outings to local shows, which reviewers note provide social engagement and opportunities for families to participate.

Facilities and management receive positive remarks for cleanliness, maintenance, and a hands-on ownership approach that emphasizes resident comfort and transparent billing (many reviewers note that services are included without surprise charges). At the same time, the residence’s small, home-like scale suggests trade-offs: while this encourages personalized care and a family atmosphere, it can limit the breadth of institutional-level amenities and formal services available on-site. A concrete operational limitation cited is the lack of transportation services, which prospective families should confirm if off-site appointments and group outings are required.

Overall, Beehive Homes of Riverton appears well suited to people seeking a clean, intimate, family-oriented assisted living environment with strong staff relationships, good food, and dementia-aware care. Prospective residents and their families should weigh those strengths against the small-residence model’s limitations—particularly transportation and the likely narrower range of on-site clinical or institutional amenities—when comparing this option to larger assisted living or skilled-nursing facilities.

    About Beehive Homes of Riverton

Beehive Homes of Riverton stands as a senior living community in Riverton, Utah, where people find both assisted living and memory care under one roof, and the place sits at 12524 S 1960 W. The staff at Beehive Homes helps with daily activities like dressing, bathing, grooming, and getting around, and they keep an eye on medication needs, so folks can feel safe knowing someone's there. Meals come dietitian-approved and get served in shared dining areas, making it easy to catch up with neighbors, and everybody gets their own private bedroom with a bathroom that has an ADA shower, with some rooms big enough for couples if they're available. Assisted living services mean help is always close at hand, and caregivers staff the place twenty-four hours a day, stepping in as needed for personal care, housekeeping, and laundry. Memory care is designed for seniors with Alzheimer's or dementia, using regular checks and specialized programs that help residents feel safe, especially with secure environments and staff who understand memory loss.

There's a consulting nurse on call all day and night, though there's no nurse living on-site, and the care extends to short-term, or respite, stays for those who need a break or temporary support, which includes meals, social events, and engagement with staff and other residents. People can take part in a good number of activities-arts and crafts, health programs, educational sessions, outings, and exercise-plus there's a game room, lounges, a fitness center, and an outdoor area for fresh air, all aimed at fostering a real sense of community and homey comfort. Folks get cable TV, phone service, utilities, bed linens, towels, and even wifi as part of the care package, and the rooms all come set up with safety features like sprinkler systems and handicap accessibility to make sure everybody's comfortable and secure. Housekeeping, laundry, and building maintenance run daily, and residents can use transportation services for trips outside or appointments as needed.

There's always something going on, with schedules full of chances to stay active and social, but folks are free to keep to themselves too, since the place tries to strike a balance between privacy and community. Pricing goes from about $2,400 up to $9,330 per month, depending on which services and care levels a resident needs, and tours or virtual visits can be arranged to help families get a clear idea of their options. The community takes pride in being family-owned and places a good deal of value on making things feel personal and cared for rather than big and impersonal, and it has decades of local experience. Extras like flower deliveries are available through local shops, including Draper Flower Delivery, offering a variety of arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, or just-because occasions, even with same-day delivery if someone's hoping to brighten a resident's day. Every decision at Beehive Homes of Riverton is meant to bring comfort, safety, and a little bit of daily joy to people in their later years, and each service is designed to make life easier for folks who need a good, steady hand as they age.
