    Beautiful facility with caring staff

I moved my mom to Sunrise of Vienna and have been extremely pleased - the facility is beautiful, spotless and thoughtfully laid out with a gym, theater and large dining room. The food is outstanding (the chef even meets with diners), activities are engaging, and the Reminiscence/Memory Care leadership and caregivers are warm, professional and truly resident-focused. Medical support, medication management and PT/OT guidance have been solid, and staff continuity makes residents feel like family. Minor downsides: the billing process and point-of-contact communication (SmileApp has occasional glitches) need improvement, overnight coverage could be better, and staff policy won't accompany residents to the ER. It's pricey but gives real peace of mind - I highly recommend Sunrise of Vienna.
