The Camelot

The Camelot is a senior living place run by LeRey and Otto Campbell where men can get different levels of care in a home-like setting, and people say the staff are friendly and helpful, and the environment feels supportive and kind even though it's set up for a gender-specific population and has 12 beds in 6 shared rooms, so there's plenty of interaction but also some privacy, and it's got board and care homes right in the neighborhood where daily care is part of the routine, so folks get help with activities, medication, meals, personal care, and even incontinence care or help with special diets if they need it, and there's cleaning, laundry, and internet provided too so residents don't have to worry much about chores. There are specialized programs for memory care, with care for those living with Alzheimer's or dementia, and the secured memory care helps reduce confusion or wandering, offering memory-enhancing activities day and night in a safe space, while skilled nursing is available for those with bigger medical needs, so after surgery or illness residents receive rehabilitation, wound care, and round-the-clock support, all in a place that encourages social engagement. Independent living residents can choose support services if and when they want them, enjoying a maintenance-free life with rides, pet-friendliness, transportation and parking, and a bus stop in walking distance, plus activities and resort-style comforts, and even though there's no live-in staff, help's always on hand because the mission has always been to give 24-hour assisted care. The Camelot is partnered with Ohio Adult Care Facilities and isn't a member of OACFA, and while it's a home for seniors, it also focuses on mental health support, with mental health and peer support programs for people with mental illness or veterans, making community support a big part of the daily routine, and smoking's allowed but only outside in set areas, so everyone can find a comfortable space.
