Tucker House also provides on-site meals with nutritious options, and the staff can help with things like diabetic care, incontinence, and non-ambulatory needs, though there's no nursing care available, so the support tends to be more about helping people stay independent. Residents can take part in activities like devotional gatherings, games, arts, holiday meals, and outings, with plenty of opportunities to be social, both on and off the property, plus there's a pet-friendly policy for approved animals, so people aren't forced to give up their companions when they move in. Utilities, cable, and phone access come with the apartments, and seniors get to use laundry rooms in both parts of the building, and there are regular housekeeping, meal, and laundry services available as part of what Tucker House offers, not to mention a steady schedule of renovations in the works to keep things updated, like new heating and air, remodeled common areas, and better outdoor spaces.
