I'm very pleased with the welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere and exceptionally helpful staff - Erin and Erika made my move easy. My bright, spacious apartment with a balcony and marsh views, clean common areas, plentiful activities, friendly neighbors, and responsive maintenance make this feel like home and easy to recommend.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment in the reviews is mixed-positive: residents frequently praise the living environment, community atmosphere, unit features, and staff interactions, but express significant and recurring concerns about cost, fees, and accessibility. Many reviewers describe feeling pleased with their apartment and the social side of Brenwood Park, especially in the initial weeks after moving in. At the same time, affordability and specific fee structures are recurring pain points that temper overall satisfaction and, for some, influence decisions about whether to stay.

Staff and management: The manager is explicitly described as pleasant and helpful, a clear positive that contributes to residents feeling supported. Reviewers say they were proud of their decision to choose Brenwood Park and that early interactions with staff and management left a favorable impression. There is no detailed information about clinical care or medical services in the summaries provided, so no conclusions can be drawn about clinical care quality beyond the described helpfulness of management and staff.

Facilities and apartments: Unit-level feedback is strongly positive. Several reviewers note they love their apartment, calling the 2 bed / 2 bath a good size. Balconies are available in units and are appreciated, and communal amenities are highlighted positively — an outdoor area with a grill and a huge community room are specifically mentioned. These features support socializing and resident activities and contribute to the sense of a pleasant living environment. Residents also repeatedly describe other residents as friendly and helpful, reinforcing the community strength.

Activities and social life: Multiple reviews mention enjoyment of activities and interaction with nice people, indicating an active social calendar and a welcoming peer environment. The combination of a large community room, outdoor spaces, and enthusiastic participants suggests opportunities for engagement are present and meaningful to residents.

Costs, fees, and affordability: A dominant negative theme is cost. Reviews specifically call out that the price for a 2 bed / 2 bath is high and, in some cases, unaffordable. Additional fee-related complaints are frequently mentioned and specific: high pet fees and what is described as unacceptable garage fees. These financial concerns are significant enough that reviewers list affordability as a central issue and some indicate that health issues or cost pressures influence decisions to move again. The fee structure appears to be an important determinant of overall satisfaction and retention.

Accessibility and health: One explicit accessibility concern is the need for an accessible shower stall, which suggests at least one resident has mobility or health-related needs that are not fully met by current bathroom configurations. Separately, reviewers note that health issues influenced moves, implying that either the level of care, the physical environment, or the cost associated with more care can be factors prompting residents to reconsider their living situation.

Patterns and final assessment: Taken together, the reviews paint a picture of a community with strong social qualities, appealing apartments, attractive communal amenities, and supportive management, particularly at move-in. However, the positive impressions are counterbalanced by persistent worries about pricing and additional fees and by at least one unmet accessibility need. For prospective residents, Brenwood Park appears to offer a pleasant day-to-day living experience and a friendly community, but it is important to confirm current pricing, all ancillary fees (pet and garage), and accessible bathroom options to ensure the community meets financial and mobility needs. Where those concerns are addressed, reviewers indicate a high degree of satisfaction; where they are not, cost and accessibility are the primary drivers of dissatisfaction.

    About Brenwood Park

Brenwood Park is a senior apartment community where you'll find one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, each one set up with a full kitchen and a bathroom. There are units on the ground floor for easy access, and some have balconies. People who live here can do their laundry in their own apartment or use the on-site laundry service, which is handy for folks who'd rather not haul baskets around. The staff here are friendly and trained to help residents when they need a hand, and there's always a focus on comfort, safety, and making things easy to get to for seniors.

The place has both indoor and outdoor common areas, like a big community room to gather in, an indoor atrium for quiet time, and an outdoor space with a grill. Residents can stay busy or just relax, and there's a meeting room for group activities or just catching up with neighbors. The apartments and showers are wheelchair-accessible, so folks who need a little help getting around can move about safely, and there are features for people who might need memory care, like support to prevent wandering.

People can bring their dogs and cats, as long as they follow the weight rules for dogs, and there's some parking too-covered, uncovered, and resident parking-even though there isn't a big parking lot. The kitchen staff, including chefs and meal planners, prepare meals using quality ingredients if folks don't want to cook for themselves. For people who like to stay active, there's a full calendar of activities, and the community tries to make sure everyone gets a chance to build friendships and feel part of something.

Seniors who need a bit more help can receive assisted living services, like help with bathing, dressing, or remembering to take medication, and there's non-medical home care help for those who want to keep living on their own but might feel a little lonely or need help sometimes. Independent seniors can find a hassle-free way of living while still enjoying a social setting. Brenwood Park follows fair housing practices, including protections against LGBTQ housing and job discrimination. Resident units are listed as available now, but specific information about utilities, rent terms, and some amenities isn't given. Overall, Brenwood Park offers a simple and caring environment for seniors who want comfort, support, and the chance to stay active.
