    Clean facility, attentive staff, excellent

I'm very pleased with the clean facility and consistently attentive, friendly staff - the care has been excellent. Daily extensive therapy and several hours of interaction have led to noticeable improvement, and I enjoy the meal choices.

    About Healthsouth Cityview Rehab

Healthsouth Cityview Rehab, located at 6701 Oakmont Blvd in Fort Worth, is a 77-bed rehabilitation hospital that's part of the Encompass Health network, and it's also listed with the American Hospital Directory, and you'll find it's sometimes called Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View; they provide all sorts of rehabilitation services for people who need to recover physical abilities after things like strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, joint replacements, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injuries, and other complex neurological or orthopedic conditions, and they work on helping folks regain independence and mobility. A big part of their care comes from a team that sticks together pretty closely, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, case managers, home health aides, and medical social workers, all aiming to give folks personalized care and set clear goals for recovery, with nurses on duty around the clock-twenty-four hours, seven days a week. There are inpatient and outpatient services, so someone who's staying for a while or just coming for regular rehabilitation appointments gets hands-on therapy, usually about three hours a day, five days a week, and these sessions focus on physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, using up-to-date equipment like the Bioness H200®, MOTOmed® muvi, DriveABLE™ Lite, and special trainers like the NeuroGYM Sit-to-Stand to match each person's needs, plus aquatic therapy, pain therapy, hand therapy, lymphedema management, day rehab programs, and other choices for complex rehab needs. The hospital puts a real focus on clean and safe surroundings, professional housekeeping, nutritious meals made by chefs, and they seem to have a reputation for friendly, helpful staff to help residents and visitors feel welcome, but they're not accredited by the BBB, even though The Joint Commission has given them accreditation for care standards. Their flexible care spans short-term and long-term stays, as well as home health and outpatient care, and they've got amenities like a dining area, a family lounge, a courtyard, group spaces for meetings or traveling groups, pet-friendly options, free WiFi, TV, phones, a nonsmoking environment, on-site dialysis, bariatric rooms, transportation, interpreter services, and even special offerings for international travelers, big family gatherings, military groups, and such, plus they offer virtual or hybrid meetings and work with independent physicians for regular check-ins. Mr. Trent Pierce is the CEO, and though right now they're not accepting new patients, the staff still answers calls to help people learn when spots open up. They hold to a community spirit, keep things clean, focus on hygiene, invite group activities, and support a wide variety of therapy and recovery programs meant to help folks feel better, get stronger, and have a better chance at living life more fully after illness or injury, whether someone's there for a short spell after a hospital visit or needs longer-term help; they're recognized for their professional team, clean rooms, fresh meals, and the way they really seem to care about each resident's comfort and progress.
