    Highly recommended compassionate ventilator care

I placed my mom here and I'm very pleased overall. The home is spacious, spotless and warm with a serene balcony; staff are friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate, and management (Tim and the owners) are responsive and communicative. They deliver attentive, high-quality medical care - including ventilator/trach expertise - in a safe, quiet, family-like setting with a small resident count. My mom is thriving and I have real peace of mind; I highly recommend this facility.

    About Hope Care II

Hope Care II sits in the Cimarron neighborhood of Vancouver, Washington, in a quiet spot where seniors can get the support they need without giving up the feel of home because there's only room for up to six residents, which means it stays small, with more personal care and a cozy atmosphere that's hard to find in bigger places. The facility provides assisted living as its main care type, while also offering options for memory care and residential care homes, so folks who need help with things like bathing, dressing, or medication have all-day oversight from a registered nurse-a full-time RN who covers clinical needs around the clock in some settings. Seniors with Alzheimer's or other dementia get housing, therapies, and daily support in a memory care section that's protected with secure doors and technology like bracelets to prevent wandering, plus activity programs that are tailored to what each person can enjoy, including reminders for those who forget activities or need help with grooming and toileting, so they stay safe and comfortable.

The staff speak Russian, Ukrainian, and English, which helps the residents feel understood, and the care team's ready to assist with behavioral care, insulin injections, medication management, incontinence help, transfers, and even high acuity or hospice care if that becomes necessary, meaning someone doesn't have to move just because their needs change. Meals come with vegetarian and kosher options, diet modifications for conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure, and eating takes place either in private homes or common areas. Private baths and wheelchair accessible showers make daily routines simpler, and there's always supervision for residents who are at risk of falling or wandering. The homes are all built for easy access, with large spaces, wheelchair friendly features, and room for pets, while Wi-Fi, transportation to appointments, and scheduled outings help make life easier for everyone.

Residents can join in on music programs, crafts, scheduled exercise, movie nights, religious services, and more, and there's a variety of both indoor and outdoor places just for socializing, plus parking for residents and safe walking areas in the landscaped grounds. Hope Care II's also got a book room, spa, beauty parlor, and places to gather for games or special events, so folks can be as active as they want, or just relax if that's their preference. The facility holds licensing number 751588 from Washington's Department of Social Services, and besides the regular services, they also offer short-term respite care and in-home care, supporting seniors and their families when they need a break or extra help. The focus at Hope Care II remains on keeping residents as independent as possible with care plans designed around their needs, with safety and comfort always a top priority.
