    Compassionate professional memory care community

I've trusted this community for over two years and am very grateful for the compassionate, responsive, patient-centered care - leadership and staff have noticeably improved since Prestige took over. The memory care team, doctors and nurses (special thanks to Jesse B., Julie L., Amy and Shay) keep me informed, made the transition easier, and my loved one is well cared for; residents are happy, activities are plentiful, and the food is good. Beautiful foothills location near Red Rocks and a welcoming, professional team make this a comforting place for families.

    Summary of reviews

Reviewer feedback for Prestige Care Center of Morrison presents a mixed picture with strong praise for day-to-day caregiving alongside serious operational concerns. Many families emphasize compassionate, attentive staff—particularly CNAs, nurses, and therapy personnel—who provide individualized attention, open family communication, and support through care transitions. Several reviews highlight continuity of care following the facility's acquisition, named staff who have made positive impressions, and specialized supports such as memory-care programming and veteran services. The facility's foothills location near Red Rocks and on-site therapy/gym resources are frequently cited as attractive features that contribute to a positive resident experience.

At the same time, reviewers raise substantial concerns about the facility environment and operational reliability. Multiple comments describe sanitation concerns in resident rooms and common areas and broader pest-control concerns near food-preparation zones. Families also report inconsistent housekeeping and episodic odor concerns. Staffing patterns are a recurrent issue: reviewers cite workforce strain, instances of delayed responses, and gaps in medication timeliness. Related clinical-safety themes include incontinence-care delays and gaps in fall-prevention or transfer-safety practices, which reviewers associate with some adverse incidents and hospital transfers.

Dining and activities receive generally positive feedback from families who note good meals and active social programming; however, a number of reviewers describe variability in food quality and the frequency or range of activities, suggesting unevenness across units or shifts. Communication is another divided area: while many families praise clear, open updates from nurses and administrators, others report unreliable phone service and difficulty reaching staff at critical moments.

Management and organizational leadership are presented inconsistently. Some reviewers commend recent administrative improvements, stronger follow-through, and a welcoming culture; others express concerns about managerial responsiveness, policy enforcement (including visitation-related interactions), and allegations of regulatory violations and financial misconduct that they say warrant oversight. Taken together, these patterns indicate a facility with meaningful strengths in person-centered caregiving and rehabilitative services but with operational weaknesses—particularly around environmental sanitation, staffing reliability, clinical response processes, and leadership consistency—that prospective residents and families should evaluate further. Arranging an in-person tour, asking for recent inspection records, and discussing staffing levels, incident-response protocols, and pest-control measures with management are recommended next steps for families considering this community.
