I like the busy social life - lots of activities, trips to the beach, a lovely theater, and friendly residents; many front-line staff are warm and helpful. The building is attractive, dining areas pleasant, apartments decent with good closet space, and overall value can be good if you don't need a kitchen. That said, a persistent bed-bug infestation and repeated pest-control failures are my biggest red flag, and management has been largely unresponsive. I'm also concerned about safety - no walk-in showers, elevator reliability, icy sidewalks, and limited nursing/assistance unless you pay extra. Meals are mixed (some tasty, some mediocre and low on fresh produce) and extra fees/administration pressure crop up. I'd recommend this place only if the pest, safety, and management issues are resolved.
