    Excellent, safe, affordable 55+ community

I moved my mother into this privately owned 55+ community and I'm very pleased. Quiet setting with private entrances, large accessible apartments (big bath, lots of storage) where she can cook and easily use her walker; patio/gardening space and well-maintained common areas. Management - especially Debra - and staff are friendly and attentive, neighbors are welcoming, there are regular social activities, it's convenient to shops, and overall a great value; I'd recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Reviews for Eagle Springs Retirement emphasize a consistently positive experience among independent-living residents and their families. The facility is described as clean and well maintained, with large, accessible apartments that include generous storage, large bathrooms, private entrances and patios. Physical layouts and doorways are noted as manageable for wheelchairs and walkers, and outdoor gardening space is available for residents who want it.

Management and staff receive frequent praise for being personable and attentive. The property’s manager (named in reviews as Debra) is singled out for positive interactions, and staff are described as caring and accessible. Those assessments suggest a hands-on, relationship-oriented management style consistent with a privately owned and operated community.

Social life and programming are highlighted as strengths. Regular informal activities — coffee times, bingo, games, and potlucks — and an active, friendly resident population contribute to a social atmosphere in which new residents quickly form friendships. Many family members report that their relatives are happy and engaged.

Dining and clinical-care patterns reflect an independent-living model. Residents commonly prepare meals in their own apartments and participate in community potlucks rather than relying on a formal full-service dining program. While staff are described as supportive and kind, the community appears focused on independence rather than providing on-site skilled nursing or intensive medical oversight.

Notable patterns for prospective residents and families: Eagle Springs appears well suited to active older adults who want spacious, accessible apartments, a socially engaged community, and attentive, locally based management. It may be less appropriate for people who require regular clinical supervision, assisted living services, or a full-service meal program; the community’s smaller, privately managed scale may limit availability of specialized or higher-acuity services. Visitors should evaluate current clinical supports and dining options relative to anticipated needs before choosing this community.

    About Eagle Springs Retirement

Eagle Springs Retirement sits on a peaceful, nearly 6-acre property in Dundee and was established in 2003 to provide seniors aged 55 and older with a safe, supportive, and independent living option, and there are 29 well-kept apartments-one-bedroom units are about 739 square feet, two-bedroom units are around 837 square feet, all with carpets, window treatments, appliances, individual heat and air controls, cable or satellite hookups, and inclusive rent so heat, gas, water, sewer, and trash are all covered while you only pay for electricity, and you'll find open lighted parking and pet-friendly policies with some restrictions, because the community means to help residents keep their pets as part of an independent routine, and they don't allow smoking in any private or public indoor spaces which adds to the safe and clean feeling throughout the building.

Residents get help to live as independently as possible with a range of care including independent living, assisted living services for support with daily activities, Alzheimer's and memory care services made to help reduce confusion and prevent wandering, respite care for short stays, and home care by trained aides who can offer companionship and non-medical help. There are nurses on site, staff available 24 hours a day, and a secure building so safety is a top priority, and the transportation program means you can get to doctor visits, legal offices, senior centers, or just around town, with mobile meal deliveries and a community bus available for group outings and appointments.

The community spaces include a large game and community room with kitchen facilities for parties and group events, indoor lounges with comfortable seating, several laundry rooms, an exercise room, and an on-site beauty and barber shop, a hair salon, and massage therapy available so regular routines are easy to keep, and there's a well-maintained outdoor area with landscaped grounds, snow removal, and places to gather with neighbors, plus resident parking is always available and the community holds frequent events in partnership with outside senior organizations, which means birthday parties, bingo, exercise classes, puzzle meetups, and seasonal activities, so there's always something going on for anyone who wants to socialize or find new friends-it's designed to offer comfort, safety, and a little fun along with maintenance-free living so folks have less to worry about as they age.

Extra services like free wireless internet, meals, wheelchair accessible showers, social and devotional programs, legal and tax help, blood pressure checks, and community events add to the comfort, and staff are always around to check in and help with whatever's needed or wanted, which means residents don't have to face daily worries, and with affordable rent, high-quality finishes, and an age-restricted set-up, Eagle Springs Retirement offers a straightforward place for seniors to settle down, make friends, and keep busy as much or as little as they want, all with the peace of mind that comes from knowing help and company are always near if needed.
