    Compassionate staff, but inspect dining

I moved my mom here and overall we're grateful - the staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and the community feels like a real family. The apartments are spacious with large bathrooms and kitchenettes, common areas are pleasant and the location is great for errands. Meals are included but too often bland, lukewarm, and limited for denture/digestive needs. Activities exist and can be engaging, but are inconsistent and could use more weekend/creative programming; some parts of the building need updating and I've seen occasional cleanliness/pest and management lapses. In short: excellent, compassionate people and good value, but inspect dining and room condition before you commit.
