    Excellent care and welcoming community

I've been very happy with my mom's nearly four years here - the care is excellent and staff, especially Leah, are patient, kind, and go above and beyond. The facility is clean, spacious, pet-friendly, and our private suite (large bedroom and bathroom) is comfortable; dining and parking are convenient. Administration is professional and responsive with prompt communication, and the 24-hour team treats residents like family and welcomes visitors. We feel safe, well looked after, and highly recommend this warm, small community.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Families describe a facility that delivers attentive, individualized care within a small, well-kept setting. Caregivers are repeatedly characterized as compassionate and patient, and several families praised long-tenured staff members by name. The facility’s model—small size, owner involvement, and consistent weekday assignments—appears to support personalized attention and continuity for residents who remain there long-term.

Care and staff: Care quality is a strong theme. Reviewers highlight 24-hour staffing, consistent weekday caregivers, and individual caregivers who go beyond basic duties to welcome family visits and accommodate preferences. Those patterns support a sense of safety and familiarity for residents. At the same time, there are recurring concerns about variability in clinical- and manager-level responsiveness; some families described delays or uneven follow-up from nurse managers or main administrative staff, indicating gaps in higher-level clinical communication and case follow-up.

Dining and activities: Dining impressions are mixed. Several families praised the food and dining area, while others expressed dissatisfaction with meal quality, indicating variability in dining satisfaction across residents. Activity programming is described as limited—both as a consequence of resident functional limitations and as an operational constraint of the small-facility model. Prospective residents should expect a quieter, more individualized activity environment and verify program options if social engagement is a priority.

Facilities and logistics: The physical environment is repeatedly described as clean, spacious, and well maintained, with private suites and large bathrooms. The facility is pet-friendly and offers convenient parking, which many families found practical. However, transportation and distance were a barrier for some—long drives and early-morning pickup logistics were noted as challenges for family members who need frequent access.

Management and financial practices: Multiple families commended prompt, helpful onboarding and owner involvement, and some felt the initial pricing offered good value compared with private in-home care. Conversely, others experienced inconsistent administrative communication, unexpected rent increases or differences between verbal promises and written terms, and a lack of formal written notices around price changes. These items suggest process and transparency gaps in billing and administrative follow-up that prospective families should clarify before moving in.

Notable patterns and takeaway: The strongest and most consistent positives are the caregiving staff and the intimate, well-maintained environment—elements that contribute to resident comfort and long tenures. The principal operational weaknesses are administrative responsiveness, billing transparency, variability in dining, and limited activity programming driven by the facility’s small size and resident mix. Families considering this provider should prioritize direct conversations about written contract terms, activity options, meal accommodations, and the facility’s process for clinical escalation and administrative communication.

    About 4 Seasons Senior Living

4 Seasons Senior Living sits in a quiet residential neighborhood, and you'll find it offers assisted living, independent living, and memory care with a home-like feeling that feels genuine, where caregivers and residents know each other by name and checking in isn't just a duty, it's part of how things go each day. The community can house up to five folks at a time in a single-story home that's wheelchair friendly, with private and semi-private rooms that have open kitchens, big windows, built-in closets, hardwood floors, roll-in showers, and even a lounge and a fenced backyard-the biggest in their group. Pets are welcome, so long as folks check in advance, and the backyard's a good spot for both residents and their animals to stretch. Staff are awake and available 24/7, keeping a 4:1 resident to staff ratio, helping with things like bathing, dressing, walking, using wheelchairs, medications, and making sure everyone's cared for every single day, even helping with meals-breakfast is made to order, lunch and dinner come from scratch in an open kitchen, and the menus get high ratings from families and residents alike.

The home carries a Type B Texas assisted living license and runs a secure memory care wing for people with Alzheimer's or dementia, and they also offer stroke recovery, hospice support, and even respite stays for those who just need short-term help or day programs, so families can take a break without worrying. Transportation, laundry, and cleaning are available, and there are fee-based options like beauty and barber services plus incontinence supplies if anyone needs them. There's Wi-Fi and cable TV, an activities room, fitness area, salon, and social opportunities built into daily routines, with games, crafts, educational events, and wellness programs to keep minds and bodies moving. The single-level layout makes it easy to get around, and bathrooms and shared areas all have safety features, grab bars, and a sprinkler system.

The atmosphere feels safe and friendly, with staff and owners ready to help, always trying to meet every resident's needs and choices, so people can stay independent for as long as possible. Family gatherings fit nicely in the private lounge, and visitors find the open floor plan and windows make things bright and comfortable, with a sense of warmth that's hard to fake. Reviewers mention the place feels like a true community with kind staff and a thoughtful approach to care, and awards for best meals, activities, and friendliness back up that reputation. Tours happen from time to time so folks can see how meals and daily life run in the home. Prices depend on care needs and room type, with private, studio, and two-bedroom apartments as options, and rates are shared when you ask. Ratings from families and residents come in around 4.0 out of 5 for community feeling and services, and the place gets a 9.0 score from 52 reviews, showing steady satisfaction. 4 Seasons Senior Living doesn't feel fancy outside but is well-kept, has modern touches, and puts more focus on personalized care and comfort than on hype or size.
