    About Bethel Assisted Living

Bethel Assisted Living in Menasha is a small, family owned and operated Community Based Residential Facility with only 8 licensed beds, and they've been in the area since 2016, helping seniors with all sorts of needs including advanced age, physical and developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's, traumatic brain injury, mental illness, and terminal illness, and it's a spot where folks get help with bathing, dressing, medication management, meals, and personal care, and the staff is around 24-hours with a registered nurse always available. The place offers both assisted living and a memory care option where residents who have Alzheimer's or dementia can live with safety and dignity in a secure setting-there are secure egress doors, an alarm system if someone exits, an outdoor secure area, and staff who get specialty training in caring for memory loss, and there's music therapy and cognitive exercises, plus the whole building is wheelchair accessible with handrails in all three bathrooms. Each resident usually has a private room, some with their own kitchenette, and all rooms have big screen TVs, telephones, window blinds and drapes, and basic cable and Wi-Fi, while housekeepers clean, do laundry and can even handle dry cleaning. Meals are home-cooked three times a day, snacks are available, the kitchen stays open 24-hours, and the dining room serves special menus for allergies or diabetes. There's a beauty shop people can use by appointment, a Whirlpool tub for relaxing, secure patios and gardens for getting fresh air, and walking paths to enjoy the outdoors. Most activities, like movie nights, community games, and music therapy, are customized to what the residents like, and there are community rooms for socializing and a designated area for smoking. Transportation and parking are available for those who need it, and help is given for move-in coordination. They welcome people for long-term care, respite care when families need a break, and give a safe, social community where help is always at hand but independence matters, and while Medicare's only an option if the place is certified, the staff works to make sure every resident's needs are met whether it's daily tasks, health coordination, or just some comfort and peace of mind for families.
