    New resident impressed by community

I signed the lease and am moving in tomorrow - already impressed. The staff are attentive and kind, housekeeping is excellent, and the gourmet dining is delicious with great variety. My spacious apartment has a stunning river/downtown view, and the pool, gym, and robust activities program make this a beautiful, hotel-like community I'd happily recommend.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Campo Felice is frequently described as a modern, amenity-rich senior living community with a hotel-like atmosphere, spacious units, and strong views. Many accounts emphasize high-quality care and friendly, attentive staff, complemented by professional housekeeping, valet parking, and organized move-in/tour experiences. The community's culinary program is a recurring strength: reviewers cite gourmet, varied menus, special-event dining, and generally positive meal service.

Care and staff: Staff performance is consistently highlighted as a strong point. Residents and family members commonly describe staff as attentive, kind, and responsive to daily needs; clinical and personal care are framed as high quality. Fitness staff and activity leaders receive specific praise for effective exercise programs and engaging, well-run activities. That said, there are isolated concerns about responsiveness tied to administrative matters (see management below), which appear to be operational rather than clinical in nature.

Dining and activities: Dining is a clear selling point — gourmet offerings, varied menus, and themed meals (for example, special Sunday deliveries) are frequently praised. A minority of comments note the food can be rich, and some residents prefer lighter options. Programming is broad: organized fitness classes, arts and crafts, bingo, social events, and holiday teas are all mentioned. However, activity and restaurant availability appear inconsistent across the community, largely related to phased openings and construction status; prospective residents should confirm current schedules and on-site dining options during a tour.

Facilities and maintenance: The property offers desirable amenities — pool, gym, movie theatre, bar, and well-appointed public spaces — and many units include terraces and expansive views. Significant recurring issues concern building systems and maintenance reliability: reviewers mention plumbing and hot-water interruptions, air-conditioning malfunctions, and elevators frequently out of service or long elevator wait times. These infrastructure problems are often linked to the community still being new or under active construction, which also contributes to noise and temporary loss of promised amenities.

Management and operations: Management strengths include organized tours, move-in support, and generally good housekeeping. Conversely, there are repeated operational concerns: unclear or shifting timelines for promised amenities, delays in processing deposits and refunds, and instances of confusing or frustrating communication about contracts. Pricing is positioned at the higher end — some find the cost justified by the level of service and amenities, while others find it unaffordable or not delivering on all advertised features during the build-out phase.

Patterns and recommendations: Campo Felice will likely suit households seeking upscale, activity-rich, hotel-like senior living with strong dining and staff engagement. Prospective residents should explicitly verify which amenities are currently available versus those still under construction, ask for documented timelines, and review contract and refund terms carefully. It is also advisable to inquire about current maintenance performance metrics (elevator uptime, hot-water reliability) and to confirm activity and restaurant schedules at the time of touring to ensure expectations match present operations.

    About Campo Felice

Campo Felice is a senior living community that fits many needs, as there are options for independent living, assisted living, memory care for Alzheimer's or dementia, and nursing home services, so a person can choose the right type of care depending on what's needed, and they try to focus on both independence and support, depending on the resident. Some people live in private one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments or studios with kitchenettes, private baths, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone service, and wifi, and there are also semi-private apartments, so folks can pick what suits them best, and all of these living spaces are well-furnished and have comfortable designs. People who are active and need little or no help usually pick independent living since they want to do their own thing, and Campo Felice provides plenty of amenities to make that enjoyable, with housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance all handled, and there are chef-prepared meals served in dining rooms with restaurant-style service, plus complimentary breakfast, so no one's stuck doing the dishes or worrying about groceries. There's a wellness center, exercise facilities, a large swimming pool with a jet spa, and a beauty salon, so folks can stay healthy and relaxed, and some spend time in the ballroom, the 49-seat movie theater, the fitness center, or enjoy the outdoor garden, while there's also a dog park for people who've got pets. The calendar's usually full thanks to the "SUN Program," so there are always social events, recreational activities, and group outings tailored for different wishes, and those are good for meeting new friends or just having some fun instead of sitting alone, as the place is designed to help people enjoy their days and connect.

Assisted living is offered for those who need more help with daily activities like dressing, bathing, taking medication, or getting meals, and staff is there 24 hours a day to lend a hand and give peace of mind. For people with memory illnesses like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, or dementia, Campo Felice has a secure memory care section with trained professionals who know how to give constant support and structure, making sure residents are safe while staying active through programs that boost mental wellness. Every care plan is made to fit the person, and there's always a nurse available for 12 to 16 hours each day alongside caregivers, so it's never hard to get someone when help is needed, and there's also respite care for short-term stays. Meals are prepared by an executive chef and can be eaten in several dining areas or even by room service, letting residents truly make it their own routine, while cleaning and linen service happens regularly, and security and maintenance go around the clock so people can feel safe and settled.

There's a big focus on creating a joyful environment, as the name "Campo Felice" means "happy fields" in Italian, and there are lots of amenities that show this, like outdoor spaces, garden areas, communal lounges, a small library, a gaming room, computer facilities, and organized trips with provided transportation. People can rely on the in-house concierge staff for help with health and fitness, travel, and entertainment, and valet parking's provided, which is helpful for visitors or residents who drive. The rental pricing is all-inclusive and there's a transparent pricing system with ranges available, which is useful for planning, and advisors are there to answer questions about availability or to give advice. Reviews are gathered and verified from residents and families, so you can get a sense of what it's really like from people who've lived there. The focus stays on quality of life, maintaining dignity and happiness, and giving plenty of support without giving up privacy and comfort, since the community is meant to fit different levels of health and independence. The river views, modern design, pet-friendly policy, and steady stream of activities can make each day feel full, and at Campo Felice, residents look for both care and a comfortable place to call home.
