    Good staff but management problems

I placed my dad here and appreciate the friendly community, caring staff, and good dining, but we've had serious problems with pest infestations (bed bugs/fleas), intrusive management entering without permission and sharing keys, slow maintenance, safety and billing/voucher delays. A couple managers were very helpful, but overall the poor/unprofessional management and rude tenants make me hesitant to recommend it.

    About Twin Towers Place

Twin Towers Place offers seniors a safe and comfortable place to live, where the staff tries hard to keep things friendly and welcoming, and folks seem to really like how kind and helpful everyone is, which shows up in reviews and those awards like Best of Senior Living and Best Activities, and there's a lot to do thanks to a big calendar full of social events, fitness classes, art projects, and things for spiritual growth, so you can stay busy or just enjoy quiet moments. You can choose among studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartments, many with balconies, each with a full kitchen that's all-electric, and there's heating, air conditioning, ceiling fans, storage, cable, WiFi, and all utilities rolled into the rent. The rooms and the whole community are designed so seniors can move around easily, with some apartments even having handicap showers, and there's controlled access for added safety along with emergency alert pendants, so families can feel a bit better about their loved ones. There's independent living for active folks, and assisted living where staff help out with bathing, dressing, and medicines, plus memory care for those with Alzheimer's or dementia, hospice care, home health services, and private caregivers if someone needs more help. A benefits enrollment center helps with paperwork, and even though some things cost extra or aren't always available, there's visiting professionals and staff on hand to keep daily life running smoothly, including maintenance, laundry, maid service, and a property manager right at the place. There are good dining options too with special diets accommodated, so you'll get tasty meals in a restaurant-style space or grab a bite or coffee at the café, and there's even a coffee concierge at breakfast time. Community comforts include fireplaces, libraries, fitness areas, walking trails, spa, media room, business center, parking, disposal chutes, and plenty of places just to sit and relax. Since United Church Homes manages it, the property stays affordable with rental pricing, and the location makes it easy to get to nearby hospitals, parks, restaurants, and entertainment. The whole setup aims to help older adults feel independent, stay healthy, and enjoy a real sense of home, with a smoke-free environment and spaces designed for simple living without giving up the little comforts, whether someone wants busy days or just a quiet, cozy corner with a good book.
